  1. Outside of NDA, I would expect you see the same thing for all the schools that have freshman teams.
  2. The schools got separated when the realinged all the sports, except football, to match basketball. I believe as high schools were built in NKY the districts became over crowded. So the most souhern school, SK, was pushed to the 8th and the most south-western school, Scott, was pushed to the 10th.
  3. Last year's senior class had 409 students.
  4. SK Varsity lost to Louisville Male 3-4, Beat Bishop Brossart 1-0, and tied Graves County 1-1. The SK JV team won all three of thier games beating Woodford County 4-2, Oldham County 3-1, and Rowen County 5-0.
  5. Do not get hung up on the "select" name. It just means that the team is associtated with the club but the team handles all asspects of the team administration including finding the kids for the team, deciding who the team's coaches are, who handles the teams training, and somewhat deciding what league the team plays. It does not mean that these kids are less skilled than those on acedamy or club teams, as many assume. Often these teams grow out of local rec teams that want to stay together and play at a more competative level. The select team you seem to be refering to, I believe, has been together for at least 5 or 6 years. Picking up a players along the way. Before this past year the KPL was thought to be the place to be for top teams that did not want to play in the MRL. My understanding is that this team choose KPL because the team did not want all the travel, and expenses, associated with MRL play. For that I do not blame them. Why is it that every soccer thread gets hijacked into a discussion about what is going on at HHS?
  6. Simon Kenton will have freshman, jv, and varsity teams. 50 or so players trying out for the team.
  7. Simon Kenton is conducting workouts 3 nights week the first 3 weeks of June.
  8. Robert Zoeller from the Louisville Ballard Boys Varsity team is taking the helm of the Lady Pioneers
  9. IMO, the discussion regarding HHS has gotten way off the topic of this board. If you have an issue regarding the program and the coaching you should be taking it up with the head coach and not be hiding behind anonymous postings.
