Boone played a great game today against #16 Ballard, Nathan Davis went 5 innings 3 hits,1 so,1 ER and no walks. Nathan didn't give up his first hit until the 5th and a total of 59 pitches. Kenton Hibbard came in in the 6th and 7th and shut the door. Boone played great defense and hit the ball very well right from the start.

Can't wait for the season to start!!

It's funny that every year Boone doesn't get much talk on this board but every year they field a very good team. This year will be no exception, I know Ganns is gone but up the middle defense is as good or better than any in Northern KY. Pitching will be solid with Purnell, Davis and a few from last years JV.

Nathan Davis from Boone County will be pitching for the Florence Freedom Elite. They have put together a solid team with players all over the tri state.

Just to let you know D3 get zero scholarships in baseball.

Thank you ....But really wasn't trying to but when Boone played Cooper last week Boone had a lot of Errors and really wanted this game. To good teams that will see each other again in Districts.

The reason the cleat mark on the thigh is from the shortstop falling down into the runner!! That's why it was a bad interpretation of the rule.
