Bill McLeid is the Head Coach this year, he was on staff last year. Great guy, I think he also has a few of the prior staff coming back as well. Good coaches, now just need to get the number of players with talent on the roster up.

Cool ! Answers the question? It draws mainly to Sk . Are the numbers down for talent at Summit View ? Is that due to Turkey Foot and Twenhofel, and Woodland drawing kids ? Sounds like Summit is more an over flow middle school.

I don't think so. It will help SK develope football players.

Just my opinion: I wouldn't attend the UK camp unless you are personally invited, and even then I wouldn't miss other camps just to attend it. My son attended it and it was very disorganized, they didn't have enough coaches to evaluate half the players that were there and the coaches didn't see a fourth of the players personally. about one fourth of the players didn't even get measured and recorded on times.

 

There were some very good players there, that didn't get seen at all. And, I'm not talking about my son, but players I saw that were very good that I knew from around the state that the UK coaches didn't even see.

 

Yes, it was cool to be there and see the size of the camp, but it was a big commercial from most players, they were more concerned with playing UK highlight videos and getting pictures then they were evaluating players.

 

Just my two cents.

We had the similar experience at the U.C. camp last year !! I think some of these bigger schools do it all for the money !! There are good camps out there !! We Loved Louisville's camp !!

Well than that is Great news !! Like I said before great guy and coach !! My son had a very good repor with him before . We wish him the best !!

Chase will be teaching at Summit View Academy and is the new AD there.

Is this going to interfere with him having a role at Sk ?

4A has added several new faces this season . I think Franklin County, and Mason County and John Hardin are schools added in the mix . I had seen both Mason and Franklin Counties play a couple years ago and they were contenders. Should be a good season in 4A.

Side note: Jeff Trame can coach - baseball AND basketball!

Either way ... Summer is here and that means preparation time for the upcoming season !! Some decisions have to be made . The kids and program can't be put on hold too long .

How does the line look this season

Mason Smith and Noah Hammond will be very good for Walton also.

What grade is Smith ? Gage Tucker played with him (Broncos) bcpwfl. Great kid and very competitive !!

On Campbell Countys Hudl roster they have him listed at 6'5 330.

Scott will be playing in Bowling Green this year for the 4A championship !!! Just not sure who against just yet......

Blocking has to be there . How experienced and physical is the line expected to be ? Any new talent? If they can get the blocking and balance the offense on passing . I think they will be contenders and exciting to watch !!! I hope they do very well !!

Scott should be relatively deep in the line . Many Sophomores this season , eager to get some Varsity experience and exposure and with a couple starters from the line mainly (Rice) as being a Senior !! The lanes and rushing attack should be impressive. Good luck Eagles

Don't apologize for being excited for your team you have every right to! This is not peewee football the goal is not to go out on Fridays and have fun, it's to win a state championship!! Btw u could always come to NCC they definitely push their little team to be winners lol.

Gage Tucker lineman 2017. Got a personal invite to University of Louisville from head lineman coach and several other camps . Has also recieved a hand written letter invite and words of encouragement from the head coach of Lindsey Wilson. That is very cool , that in todays times that a coach will hand write a letter instead of email etc. Says a lot. He will attend Uk and UL camps and a visit to Lindsey Wilson as well as University of Jacksonville Florida in late June .
