36 -10 with a 29-3 lead going into the fourth is pretty much laying down. Don't care about either team, but you know Dixie wants SK and a running clock next round.

Should be a good game Lafayette has played the far superior schedule (unlike SK they haven't ducked anybody) and that will help when and if the going gets tough. Lafayette's WRs should be loving this matchup. SK is physically tough but not as tough as Dixie or Ryle. Lafayette should get past SK but no way they beat Dixie or Ryle. In a game that is Lafayette's to lose, I'll take Lafayette too intimidate SK's back 7 and win this one. Was told by a state official that SK is claiming there is supposed to be another purge in Lexington this week and SK is trying to get the game moved to SK. I say man up for once and play the game.

Scott County starting to play very well now. What would have been a close game earlier probably will not be so close.

In a close one I'll go with St X. The blow out victory over Manual earlier was probably an aberration. Both teams have tough defenses, but ST X has a little better offense (and home field)

My Trinity friends with players on the team believe it will be Male winning. They said Male left too many points on the field last time. These were the same ones who predicted the loss to ST X. So deferring to them, and their lack of faith in Trinity's D-Backs, I will predict a Male victory. But i'll still be cheering for the Rocks in the upset.

In a close one I'll take Dixie. Should be another dog fight. You know Dixie would much rather be playing SK. Ryle, unlike SK, isn't going to give them anything they are going to fight them the whole way. Sounds like it may come down to the health of a couple of players.

Would have loved to have watched that game! When you get that much offensive talent on the field at one time this will happen. Game of the year. A game like that you dare not leave your seat over fear you will miss something. As any of the old high school coaches that visit this board will attest to sometimes a game turns into a track meet and sometimes it turns into a slugfest (football or basketball). Has little to do with what you want to do, sometimes human nature just takes these games in one direction or another. Both teams want to control the tempo and pace but things don't always go the way you want them to. As far as the NKY crack about defense(or lack there of). Dixie may have slowed them down ( though Highlands and Boone could not ) but these two tonight would have run through, around and over Simon Kenton. What was that Dixie - Simon Kenton score again?

With Nero, Manual is playing for the whole thing. Without Nero, Manual is still an awfully good team that matches up well with anyone. In a close defensive battle, St X appears to be the slight favorite.
