  1. The Breds travel to Claryville to take on the Lady Camels Wednesday night. Who wins and why?
  2. Great job Will. Not only a good player but even a better kid. Congrats!!!
  3. Any box scores? Sounds like a rough game for the Eagles.
  4. I would like to at least hear the Scott game that is going on now if anyone has a link.
  5. It appears only some of the games will shown on prep spin and the first one is the Cooper game at 4:30.
  6. As far as I have known the 10th Region player of the year award was always a senior only award but I do know that the 8th region opens it up to any class.
  7. The Lady Camels defeat a very good Marist team from Illinois in the Queen Of The Commonwealth Tourney at Bullet East to finish 3rd overall.
  8. Does anyone know who the candidates are and what determines who and how you become and win the POY award. Just curious.
  9. Score was 61/58 Bullitt East. I heard this was a great game.
  10. Hall didn't start his bulk of scoring until the Camels went into a zone defense. When the Camels were in man to man and Clos was guarding him. Clos only allowed Hall 2 field goals and one of those was off a double screen that slowed Clos down for second. Hall is a really talented player but to say he wasn't shut down would be correct when Camels played zone not when they were playing man to man.
  11. I agree that the Region is down year however Campbell has played some other the top teams in the 9th as well and won those games as well. With wins over Holmes, Newport Central Catholic and the undefeated Dixie Colonels. I feel Campbell would be a competitor in the 9th for a top spot with the way they have been playing. They face off against Covington Catholic in a few weeks and that will be a great test for the Camels.
  12. I heard it was a fist fight during the hand shake line at the end of game after the refs left the floor.
  13. I heard there was a altercation at the end of the Johnson Central/Grayson County game. Does anyone know if there has been any repercussions from this situation towards either team?
  14. I'm taking Bracken by 10. I think Crawford will be too much for the Mustangs to handle.
  15. I'll take Beechwood by 12. If they can hang with Dixie until the end then this game should be won by double digits.
  16. Campbell didn't double team or run a box and 1 on her. As stated she just came off of an injury so she was trying to work back into things last night.
  17. I agree 100% that Coach Menefee did a great job of keeping the girls patient and under control most of the night. Good win for this Camels team. I know Campbell lost a lot of talent from last years team but this group is really coming together really nice and I think they will definitely be a contender at the end of the year and will surprise some people. I think you always have a chance to win with the Clos/Schwarber tandem and now Holbrook is really having a good year as well so that just increases the chances for this Camels team.
  18. GRC- only because of their record. I don't they have played a very tough schedule up until this point. Mason- The win over Holmes gives them the edge over Campbell even though Ryle beat Mason and then Campbell beat Ryle last night. Campbell- Has played a tough schedule so far and will continue that tough schedule all season long. Nice win last night over Ryle with the full team in the lineup. Scott- Has played a tough schedule so far as well so that is taken in consideration. Brossart Bourbon Nicholas Harrison Paris Bracken. Any of the top 4 could really be shuffled around on any given night. I personally don't think their is a clear cut dominate team in the 10th this year. I would be interested in hearing how everyone else above me determined their order of the first few teams.
  19. Now that we have a few games under the belt. How would you rank the top 10 in the 10th Region?
  20. Here's the box score. Campbell County 54, Ryle 46 Ryle (2-5) - Miller 2 0 4, McGregor 4 3 11, Branson 1 1 3, Schwartz 5 1 13, Scherr 5 2 13, Douchit 1 0 2. Campbell Co. (3-3) - Clos 7 4 21, Schwarber 3 3 10, Seckman 1 0 3, Scott 1 1 3, Jackson 1 0 3, Holbrook 4 4 14. Halftime score: CC 22-21. 3-pointers: R 3 (Schwartz 2, Scherr); C 8 (Clos 3, Holbrook 2, Schwarber, Seckman, Jackson).
