I have heard the DB's and LB's were pretty hurt at the end of the season and not sprained ankles but surgery type of injuries. I don't think anyone was saying anyhting about their play in the begining of the season I also don't think it was Ryans first season and they have been pretty tough in years past.

Since Chuck Smith is on every other thread why not SWHS, great facilities, it will count for his teachers retirement and from what I know there is alot of talented athletes in the school.

I think he was named the official DC in 02 but coached other positions before. Not for sure about the time line with Red Dog. I am sure Brian played for him.

Just hope they get a very strong coach too much talent in the area to not get a great coach, plus second to none facilities.

BW will do great, Dale came to Highlands in 94 and Brian came in 95 they both have the 11 titles and three runner-up as coaches. This year was a rough one on the Defense the talent didn't seem to be as balanced on both sides as it should. But look back through the past 19 years and there are many impresive defensive years.
