Sure players should believe that, that's half the battle. Nobody saying the players shouldn't believe that. However parents and fans preaching to no end that they are the best, does nothing but put them up on that pedestal where there's no where to go but down. Given HC schedule this year, I'm sure HC fans think they're the best. We'll see tonight.

Something tells me that if Holy Cross losses tomorrow night, that you'll still be trying to sell the fact that you think they're the best 11 players or best 2A team.

I agree that Beechwood game was horrible, no doubt about it. The play calling was atrocious. But one game doesn't show the improvements NCC has had since the last game against HC. Are you telling me that HC has improved since the last meeting between these 2?? They may have but not an improvement of 5 tds, as suggested by others.

I'm referring to you always talking about the 2 RBs, like they're the only kids on that team. Give all the kids HC credit.

NCC beat HC by 3 tds last game and now you're predicting HC beats NCC by 2 tds?????? NCC has only improved since the last meeting, No way HC has improved by 5 tds.

As i recall, NCC defended HC ground attack just fine the last time. Don't see anything new happening. The score may be a little closer, but still has the same outcome.

I guess i'll be the first to post. I see the same result this game as the first game, Newcath rolls on to the win the region. I see Holy Cross using Barnes as a QB, but NCC defense will dominate once again.

Anyone know when the last time Highlands last in the 1st round of the playoffs???

I stand by my post, just let it go. Who cares how the Holy Cross-Beechwood game could have been. Holy Cross lost that game and was beat by a better team, just as Newcath was last night.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.......let it go. I'm sure all fans could say the same thing, If we did this, or we should have done that, then we could have done this. Hindsight is 20/20. Just let it go.
