Bob Beatty, Philip Haywood, and Joe Morris. Sorry but a combined 26 state titles with 40 appearances speaks for itself. Don't think I'd be able to get all three though since they'd all be gone in the first round.

I know my opinion is biased, but I see one player that overshadowed everyone last year as a junior and sits atop the stats lists for rushing and scoring in the entire state for the second year in a row. With all the craziness of this football season, there is no way he could reach the unprecedented level of last year, but in my opinion, still the best football player in the state.

KC's offense exploded against Wayne County, but I don't see them being able to replicate that result in this one. Corbin by at least 3 TDs.

These two along with the DIII championship are the type of games I like to see when it comes to the championship. Two evenly matched teams going blow for blow for the title. Congrats to all who won and all who made it.

Head Coach Shawn Thompson announces retirement on post game radio show after 17 seasons as head coach. Amazing coach, mentor, and man. Will be missed. Really turned this Wayne County program around.
