All this arguing about the scrimmage doesn't matter. It doesn't help either team,,,,trinity schedule is way tougher so they see players like Highlands ALL THE TIME. Highlands knows they will get beat by Trinity every year. But then they dress 60 plus or close to it and play small 4a teams well atleast in the playoffs . Someone call me when Highlands wins as many games a Trinity does when they play a schedule worthy or recognition. Playing one cincy school a year win or lose does not make them a top tier team. They have the talent to play better but they dont. If they are so good why not move up to 6A. Go play the big boys week in week out and when you win then they are worthy of all the phrase until then its all hot air. They could scrimmage no one and everyone KNOWS they are gonna win 9 outta ten games in the regular season. And probably state because they play 4A. period.

When you go 0-10 the year before every stone should be overturned. Normally the coach has the upperhand in a case like this BUT when you go 0pher you have to consider letting him comeback. Have a meeting be stern direct and honest but if you care for the senior class and the program in general let him play because a month or so from now if he comes out and has a couple of big games and helps the team everyone will be glad he came back. THE PLAYER AND SECRETLY THE COACH.

Based on the level of competition when the jags and union raider kids were still in bcpwfl. As compared to how the league is now. The league was tougher. Yes 40 kids on a team is to much I agree. BUT the league was still feeding kids to Boone, Ryle, and Conner. Your just dividing the same core kids. And some of these teams haven't been better because of the FEEDER progams. And I have seen some union raiders teams with 25-30 kids on them. SO whats the point of breaking away. Ryle, nor cooper has benefited from it yet. And the good core kids each has coming in played in the BCPWFL at one point anyway.

Sorry but I agree only reason some of these youth programs were started because of a disagreement, which is fine people can do what they want. BUT no denying its watering down pee wee football in florence , Union etc. When they were all in one league competition was WAY BETTER. Yes kids are playing and that is good but if they aren't playing against decent comp when they get to high school and the level goes up they cant compete. And i cant speak for Highlands but the COLERAIN FEEDER you guys speak of wasn't always a colerain feeder. THE little cards used to be the K of C Rebels and were always good and tough but the got kids from ALL OVER THE CITY. So most didn't even attend Colerain in high school. Colerain just because relevant in the late 90s. K of C was good way before that. Point being the little cards get kids that some MAY go to colerain but they come from ALOT of other areas as well.

True and not true. YES there are exceptions that have never played before and can come star in high school with no experience. BUT A GOOD PEE WEE PROGRAM THAT PLAYS TOUGH COMPETITION always benefits high schools in that same area. How would it not. Sure open enrollment helps but if your getting 25 or 30 plus kids that have never played a snap your in trouble. You need a foundation of kids that have played quality pee wee football to filter into your school. Reguardless of the area they come from.

Feeder programs don,t help one bit. As long as their is quality peewee football around good schools will get the good kids to come to them. Every coach has his own game plan etc. As long as the kids are getting experience they will learn the system when the get to high school. You don't have to run the same plays as the varsity for kids to learn quality football and to develop.

I sd its possible for a new school if they are fortunate to be created when their happens to be some talent coming thru to have success early AND I SD FOR THE FOURTH TIME HELLBIRD that i think cooper will be strong in the years to come every class has their strengths and weaknesses i think in years to come they will be really strong and deep at the skill spots just not deep this year at them.....And thats my opinion you have yours and just because 2 other people agree with you doesnt make you right like i sd the season will start soon and we will find out.......hatred is a strong word i truthfully just dont think you are right. SURE i was cut when i was little first off im not that old to have been cut from a football team lol so but thats another story and what me dissing highlands oh so no one can diss highlands huh they are untouchable right man no they arent. MASS TALENT huh.......umm ok where was that MASS TALENT the last 2 seasons now yea ryle has suspect coaching but MASS talent correct me if im wrong but didnt trinity beat ryle 3 seasons ago with a team of ALL SOPHMORES ........now they are a really talented bunch but still you supposedly have MASS TALENT but you get beat by a team with 80 percent soph.

I can name atleast 6 or 7 good players ryle wouldve had and if im correct isnt ryle 6 a and cooper 5 a right soo come playoff time ryle has to go bang with the big boys if they go up state right........trinity stx male etc.......SOOOOOOOOOOO YOUR TELLING ME that its just the coaching thats the reason they havent won state or gotten to the state game.....COMMON MAN BE REAL gonna need coaching and A WHOLE LOT OF TALENT TO BEAT SCHOOLS LIKE trinity SO COOPER OPENING cant have helped them. Well Lima senior game could go either way some year back they were good but we will see but looking last years schedule you figure toledo whitmer state runner up toledo central won division 2 state champ last year finley is a division 1 school thurgood just changed the school name but they have been to division 2 playoffs last 2 years thats a halfway tough schedule reguardless of record beechwood shouldnt sleep on lima im not saying beechwood wont win but it may be a tougher game than lima record is suggesting.

Ok what team and what age went straight down there and won 4 straight it all wasnt same team and lets be honest the older division in louisville the 14 u isnt deep usually only 3 teams in it max and or teams are cheating etc and those seniors played under the bandits name and they lost to the dayton flames im not saying there wasnt talent out there im saying they arent deep at the skill postions and last i looked the tailback on that team went to dixie and is at dixie not cooper. Now i will say this if not for cooper i think ryle (with better coaching ) would be a powerhouse but all the kids from the bcpwfl get split up so a deep team from that league cant just funnel to one high school. To many high schools in close proximity breaking up the talent cooper killed ryles state chances the moment it was founded. If you could keep most of those kids under a roof like say ryle they would do big things but because they get split up is why i think is paticular class is thin at the skill spots now down the road they actually will be deep in those spots because they have some talented groups coming.

HELLbird we arent speaking of last year we are talking this year and like i sd ive seen most of them play and they havent had the bcpwl allstar game in a while and its not every year and only certain teams that have gone down to louisville have made the championship game...ive been down there so i know exactly which teams did and didnt so nice try. And no one said they couldnt run or catch nor did i say they were talentless i just said they are thin at the skill positions. Some teams can make a run and not be a DEEP TEAM barring injuries but like sd you have your opinion and i have mine will i respect yours i disagree so we will find out..... AND just to get some feathers ruffled just like i feel like highlands is overrated ....but thats for another forrum or if you care to start that one ill be happy to sound off on it.

Well my statement isnt blank at all you really havent supplied any facts and im still gonna disagree with you as i have seen most of the kids you are speaking of and ive seen then when they were younger so like i sd bottomline season is around the corner and we will see who ends up being right then ill be happy to continue the discussion and or during the season. But I love a good arguement we will see when they start playing for real.

HAHA rocker your a joke i sd if the varsity coach was smart he would watch and check the film seeing as that kid will be on varsity soon and really college coaches dont watch film of kids if they arent on varsity you may want to read up ROCKER a 7th grade kid was just offered after he went to a summer camp. HAHAH wow well I just read most of the comments about the colin england kid....OK number one stop hating the boy can play 2 if the kid wants to put his highlights on youtube so what good for him. 3 how do most of you figure that freshman teams arent built to stop a 6 2 kid everyone has size nowa days this isnt the 70s Now yeah he does run to high but even though he ran that high he ran over most of your schools and to say he wont be any good becuse hes only a freshman is bs hes s freshman so he played freshman ball. And umm so a coach wont think much of freshman highlights huh...wow some of you dont get it if your a SMART VARSITY COACH YOU WOULD CHECK THEM out because your gonna be coaching the kid one day and you can see what he can do and what you can do to improve him. He didnt grow up running the ball so as time goes on he will learn to lower his pad level that comes with experience. But whatever position he ends up playing he is good and has been playing since he was young and yes he would be a good ball player for any team in the nky area period.

So your saying Coach Borchers coaches up his assistants as well as his players....how does he get the most out of his assistants? What were they not good coaches before joining coopers staff im just asking?

Well like i sd before the season is right around the corner so we will find out but if you want to keep at it just because someone "plays a skill position doesn't make them good at that position they just play it because there isnt anyone better so like i sd my opinion is that they are thin at the skill positions. But this is nky and they dont have to be that good to be competitive. I just think in the coming years cooper will be really tough to beat I just dont think its gonna be this year but again like I sd we will find out.

I also agree they will take a step back this year. They will be competitive they have some good players but they are thin at the skill positions. Morgans gonna have to be around the ball alot. The sophmore class has some good players but they are also thin at the skill postions. When those kids are seniors and the 8th graders are sophmores and if they coaches are smart enough to mix the skill postions in with the older kids cooper will be dangerous then. This year competitive yes....back to the state finals......doubtful.

RYLE GOES 2-8 AT BEST 3-7 and sycamore game will be an ugly home loss.................just saying.
