Final from Dayton. Junior Draven Garcia paced the Devils with 17. Riley led all scorers with 28 for the Cougars. Had some really nice drives to the basket in the 4th quarter. Dayton won JV also. Dayton will be at Robertson Co tomorrow night.

Final from Dayton. The Greendevils had 3 in double figures led by sophomore Carl Matthews 17 points (career high) and 11 rebounds. Sr Matt Grimme also had a double double with 15 and 10. The bench really stepped up for the Devils will Logan Brewer adding 10 points and Noah Patton chipping in with 8 points and a team high 12 rebounds. The Devils look to push their winning streak to 4 as they take on the Silver Grove Big Trains for senior night 2/16 at Dayton 7:30.

Final 2/12 from Dayton. Sloppy game for both teams. Dayton was led by Senior Matt Grimme with 11 points and sophomore Sam Brewer with 9. The Greendevils matched their win total from last season with 7 and go for their 3rd in a row Friday night at home against Covington Latin at 7:30. The cougars were lead by Christina Zint's game high 14 points and Justin Wade with 13.

Yes, it was a very nice sized crowd. Bleachers were about 2/3 full on both sides

Final from Dayton. Sophomore guard Sam Brewer led all scorers with 23. Senior forward Matt Grimme added 11 points (10 in the 2nd half) and also took home the crown as Homecoming King! Villa was led by McIntyre with 9.

Where has Bob Cole been this season? 1 of, if not the best officials in the 9th, but I have yet to see him this season and I have been to several games.

Yes indeed. I saw another thread where a poster said "highlands can name the score" Really nice to see the Devils playing better ball. They let a few slip away earlier this season and seem to be coming together finally.

Final from Dayton. Don't have stats, but I was told Ball led the Birds in scoring hitting 5 or 6 from deep. Dayton was led by Matt Grimme and Phillip McDaniel who had 16 each. Dayton takes on Newport Monday in the All-A Classic at Bellevue at 6pm.

Final from Dayton 1/14. Greendevils win their 4th in a row behind career high scoring nights from Junior Phillip McDaniel with 23 and Sophomore Carl Matthews with 14. SCPA had 3 players with 12 points each. Dayton takes on Highlands Saturday night at home when they try for 5 straight in a tough district seeding game.

Final from independence. The Greendevils were led by Senior forward Matt Grimme with 20 points 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Noah Patton added 11 points off the bench and Senior guard Derek Lyons contributed 9 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The Greendevils have put together their first winning streak of the season after their third straight victory. They will try to make it 4 in a row tomorrow evening in Dayton as they take on SCPA at 6pm. The Cougars were led by Akeem Riley with 18 points, including 14 in the 4th quarter to keep the game close.

These rules are contradictory....you can announce the player that scored and what type of shot it was, but not supposed to announce while clock is running. Clear as mud

Beechwood is in Division 2, have been for the last 3-4 years. Other than that, great work and thanks for the insight.
