Rumor has it and according to the coach's FB page he has taken a teaching job at Beechwood. Not sure if he will be coaching soccer at the new school. Good Luck Coach Forshey!

According to an email sent to soccer parents, Coach Forshey is out as this year's head coach. Forshey would have been going into his second year with the girl's program. The team captured it's first 33rd district title in school history last year. He's got some talent. Forshey has been involved in all practices this summer until today. JV coach Chelsea Schulte will take over as the head coach for the team. This will be the third coach in three years. Hope the girls can keep it moving and maintain the momentum they finished the year with.

I believe Conner won in 2017 against Cooper.

Ryle's Battle of the Borders will play this weekend on Saturday on the Union, Ky campus. Good luck to all the teams this weekend. Tyson Beach is a beast. This kid has serious potential to do great things. His football IQ is off the charts. This kid plays defense, offense, special teams and a little QB. He most likely leads the team in defensive and offensive stats. He's force for sure!

Conner is hot right now for sure but will the Lady Cougars be able to conquer? I sure hope so. Sophomore Emily Bischoff, junior Chloe Merkle and freshman Juliet Strange are fierce in defense. I hope it is enough! Offensively, Jayden Boelter is a good as they come. That kid has a crazy left foot.

Anyone thinking anyone other than Highlands or NDA? These two have faced off twice this year already, one ending in a tie and the other a win to NDA with a score of 3-2. Good luck to all the ladies!
