Anyone thinking anyone other than Highlands or NDA? These two have faced off twice this year already, one ending in a tie and the other a win to NDA with a score of 3-2. Good luck to all the ladies!

Those two are definitely the favorites but Conner is rolling right now with a potent offense and Dixie is young but talented. Should be interesting come Saturday to see what the draw gives us. If it is Highlands vs NDA in the final, you will have the 9th DPOY in Lauren Deckert, the OPOY Lauren Carothers, 1st Team Parker Price, 1st Team Feldman, 2nd Team Broering and 3rd Team Tatum Price on the same field competing. There are couple more from Highlands and NDA but I forgot the list. The battle between Carothers and Parker Price is a fun one to watch. Mass respect shown to each other on the field. Should be a great 9th Region tourney.

Conner is hot right now for sure but will the Lady Cougars be able to conquer? I sure hope so. Sophomore Emily Bischoff, junior Chloe Merkle and freshman Juliet Strange are fierce in defense. I hope it is enough! Offensively, Jayden Boelter is a good as they come. That kid has a crazy left foot.

Mackenzie Kent of St. Henry is the best offensive player I have seen this year. St. Henry could surprise in the regional.

 

If the referee lets Dixie Heights play as physical as they want, they could also get an upset win.

Of course she is, she's a Tempest player!

The Faught sisters will bring it and Nicole Alig will be strong in midfield too. Bischoff and Strange strong in defense. Everyone knows about Boelter up top!!

Kent is very good, we know this because she plays for our club team.

St. Henry will also have the field to their advantage. Grass plays deferent but it even comes more of a factor late in the season when it becomes wet after sunset. This could cause problems for keepers. I think this is going to be a defensive tourney, not much scoring. Interesting take on Dixie and their physical play. I know they like to have a lot of contact after the ball is released. Let’s hope it’s just bad timing but hope the refs are watching that closely.

Pretty much have to go with ND at this point. As for a dark horse, Conner had a really good District tourney run. They should be proud of that but can they keep momentum? Ryle has played all the leading teams close. Ryle hasn't lost but two games since September 2nd. This tourney is going to be a crazy fun one to watch.
