Won't go into details, but E-town was down a couple of players all Xmas break, and started 1 Jr., 2 Soph., and 2 Frosh, and they hung in there pretty well for playing the #2 team. But it doesn't matter if you loose every game from the end of Nov. to middle of Feb. It all depends on what formula you have and if it works in district play...
1. Scott
2. Ballard
3. Russell Co.
4. Rockcastle Co.
5. PLD
6. Franklin Co.
7. Clay Co.
8. Lex. CAth.
9. Lafayette
And the Montgomery Co. Game was closer than 13 points...
Madison really hasn't shown very much , according to "SOS", but district play is now afoot, and the roughest part of their schedule is still ahead of them...
At least 8 "EIGHT" really good teams ahead of them!!!
Can anyone post an up-to-date schedule for this weekend bc Ryle is on the original schedule, but not on the riherds scoreboard and neither is Manual., also the Richmond IN. team may not make it bc of the weather.
Several nice teams that should make some noise in their respected regions...
Owen Co. (8-1)
Bishop Brossant (8-2)
Allen Central (6-1)
Franklin Co. (7-3)
E-town (7-3) has lost twice to Mercy
Anderson Co. (9-1) has a couple of outstanding wins over Lex. CAth. twice, Larue Co., Lincoln Co., Butler, and Paul Dunbar
Should be a fun weekend in the capital, until the CARDS play the cats Sat.
Filth an took 3 in a role... The only thing in every poll across the state is that MARION is a decisive #1. Anderson is lookin pretty goog also. Sacred Heart is clicking too... Bowling Green also beat 2 of my top 10 teams in as many days.
This is a very high year for girls basketball in the state this year, with the MC leading the way.
