I agree as the HC player is a very strong hitter.

Supposedly the coach chose the GC game to sit her out as HC had/has games every day this week. This is second hand information originating from the HC players parent.

I heard that HC's RF, a freshman and good hitter was not allowed to play last night because of some "four games in a row" rule?!?

I believe that Williamstown/Eminence at 10:30am followed by Trimble/Carroll at noon. I haven't heard what will happen about the GC/OC cancellation.

Just received word that the KY SWATT 16U team has been accepted into the 2013 Ohio Stingray's Summer Showcase. This is exciting news as only 32 teams will get in the 16U bracket. I am unaware of any interest individually as of yet. SWATT is totally new and only time will tell. The coach is trying various combinations in positioning and batting order. The girls are all versatile and willing to try new things. They all have extremely high hopes of playing on after high school. I will post the summer schedule as soon as I know what it is.

We didn't notice any college coaches at Bowling Green but saw quite a few in Chattanooga. Georgia Tech, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky watched our night game and someone (that we couldn't determine their affiliation) was filming our batters. There were numerous other coaches there as well. With 14 fields in operation, it was difficult to check them all out....quite an operation!!

They played the weekend before Chattanooga in Bowling Green and used that as a warm up as they had not played an official game together. There is nothing else scheduled this fall but the summer schedule will be full. The coach is trying different combinations and evaluating what she feels is best. Once they get used to each other, the team will be extremely competitive.

The KY SWATT 16U Showcase Team attended the Gold Diamond Exposure Showcase in Chattanooga the last weekend in October. Considering thet they have been together a little over a month, they went 3-2 with wins over the Ohio Hawks, Team Knoxville and Southern Attack. Losses were to the Carolina Elite and Tennessee White Lightning. The 8th and 11th regions are represented very well. KY S.W.A.T.T. 16U Showcase
