What does the term "Showcase team" mean? I hear teams calling them self that and never have understood what it means.

Are the Ky Swatt girls trying harder to get into college than others?

 

If you look around at the teams that very successful at putting girls in college none call them selfs "Showcase teams"

 

The Louisville Sluggers, Beverly Bandits, the TN Fury, any of the CA teams and so on dont use that term.

If you had to guess how many kids were playing during the summer at HHS say 5 years ago? It may take several more years but I believe sooner or later softball will come close in this area to soccer and vollyball.
