  1. Pitching in KY is becoming BP, with a few exceptions.
  2. I don't know how it comes down in the "official" scoring world, but I just went back and checked how GameChanger tallies it, and GC does NOT count it as an ER....(based on my input of runner being placed on 2nd) My first guess would have been that it would not be an ER, but would not be surprised if some obscure ruling comes to light that confirms it to be and ER.
  3. Most do, I agree. And I think the ones that are out there that are knowingly padding stats are an even smaller minority. I think "most" questionable stats come from ignorance rather than someone trying to be sneaky.
  4. KY DOOMers!! You know how it is, Big Daddy.
  5. Male uses Gamechanger and it auto-uploads to Maxpreps. I still don't trust half of all high school stats, though. I had a Mom get sideways with me earlier this season after I explained to her that her DD's hard ground ball to the RF, who then muffed the catch AND throw, was a solid single with a 2 base error, NOT a triple. Lot of those Moms scattered through the state keeping stats. "No, that is called a Fielder's Choice, not a hit"
  6. Central Hardin and Madisonville should be ranked higher, for sure. I wouldn't rank Anderson County over Eastern, CH or Madtown, whether their coach gave them a (#1) vote or not. :lol2:
  7. More Congrats, Dallis!! Way to be a leader!!
  8. 15 runs on 2 hits. "Houston, we have a problem."
  9. Great work, Dallis!! Keep it rolling!!
  10. and 11.....geez. So, here's a scenario. 1,5 & 11, 7 in one "branch". Possible Lone Oak vs. Central Hardin winner playing Scott Co. vs. (Male OR Ballard OR Eastern) winner. Winner of that then gets to play Greenwood. Double Geez. That's 4 of the state's top teams dropping into the "send 'em home" bracket by Fri. afternoon. Looks like Mercy/Oldham Co. winner got a nice path to the semis Just a possible scenario.
  11. 1st round: Region 9 v. Region 10 Region 4 v. Region 13 Region 1 v. Region 5 Region 11 v. Region 7 Region 14 v. Region 12 Region 8 v. Region 6 Region 2 v. Region 3 Region 15 v. Region 16 What say you?
  12. Pass on Moonlite and hit up Ol' Hickory off of Frederica.
  13. Mason is heading to Murray State, right? And big congrats to Nikki!!! No one works harder
  14. One run officially scored for each inning. Same way in baseball.
  15. Male plays Central Hardin and Butler on the road, if neither rain out. They beat Butler at Meade tourney, and think they can repeat, but CH is another story. If Male pitching can stay away from the long ball, they may have a chance. It will be a nice test after only getting 1 game in since 03/27. Bowling Green, Muhlenberg County, North Laurel pool games at Greenwood tourney this weekend. Think BG will be toughest to start. Brackets will be tough with Greenwood, Ballard, Eastern and Central Hardin there.
  16. 12 fields in 3 "quads". One quad is fastpitch specific, 4 fields. One quad has 2 Men's league fields with the deeper fences and infields. Remaining 6 fields are baseball of varying sizes. Whether or not KHSAA will go against the Owensboro Mafia and move State tournament there is the biggest question. Would make perfect sense, though. Google Map this address and zoom in tight to see aerial view: 1401 West Park Road; Elizabethtown, KY, 42701 Impressive.
  17. She was pissed from her 1st loss since May of 2011 that happened Monday night.
  18. Conner, Lloyd Memorial, Ludlow and Ryle are the four HCs from R9. I'd never even heard of two of those teams three minutes ago.
  19. Granted, the team she beat has been outscored 52-4 in their first 5 games. Impressive, nonetheless.
