Coach Holland is off to a good start. They should get better all year. That's the way he was at Oldham Co.

Oldham Co v South Oldham is THE rivalry in Oldham Co. The schools are separated by about 4 miles and the players grow up playing with and against each other in all sports. North Oldham, although still a rival, is a good distance away and at times seems separated from the rest of the county

Oldham Co should be a contender in the 8th again. Coach Coy Zerhusen was Coach Hollands top assistant for the past 4 years and contributed much to the success they've had. OC will play hard under Z ... Their top players will be a very athletic (JR) Conner Hicks who started early last year as a soph. Also (SR) Austin Wills played well in the 8th Region Tourney. Oldham also has a very talented Soph class who will contribute this year.

I agree. I'm gonna travel to Montgomery a few times to see them play. Coach did a lot for my son. I am Jason Holland fan

North Oldham will be more balanced this year and I think a better team. They have a very good scorer in Trevor Burton. Also a couple of bigs, Justin Cundiff and Adam Klingman who will make them solid inside. If they get someone to step up at the point, they should be a contender in the 8th region. My opinion .....

I am a big Jason Holland fan ... Having been around Coach Holland at Oldham Co for the last 4 years. I'm anxious to see what he can do with the talent he has inherited at Montgomery. Hollands teams seem to always improve and are pretty tough come tournament time. I hope he does special things at Montgomery Co.

Having been around Coach Holland for 4 years I can tell you Montgomery Co is getting a very good coach and a better person. I'm very happy for him and I know he will do a great job. Big Jason Holland fan

70-63 South Oldham. No reason just a guess

You're right 8th Region Warrior ... Collins and South can score points but in a "tight" possession by possession game can South close the deal. That game last night was played the way both like to play. South was shakey late in the game. Both Oldham and Anderson will play good defense. I also was very glad that the late walking call didn't beat South. I would have hated that for the young man.

The other side of the bracket might have something to say about who goes to the sweet 16. Oldham co just beat south less than a week ago and Anderson plays good defense too. Sometimes South doesn't do well in a defensive, low scoring game. Good teams in this 8th region final 4!
