  1. Odds are, the referees were not some of the higher rated refs in the region. Think about it, if you are the assigning secretrary, do you send your top rated refs to a game in your region between two teams from OUTSIDE the region. My guess is the best refs in this region were calling in region games and Taylor Co and Henderson Co got the leftovers. No other way to explain why two teams of this caliber were left with these clowns. Too bad.
  2. Boston had a second interview last night and Jaggers was called back for a second interview today.
  3. I believe it to be one of the main reasons that he has not been hired.
  4. They are not going to hire a harder working person than Josh Boston. He is a fine young man with unquestionable character. Does anybody on here think that his link to Clevengers staff and the veer offense could be a hindrance. I know there have been rumblings about spicing up the offense and putting more fans in the seats. Just something to think about.
  5. It is a little disconcerting to me that coaches go through the application and interview process, are then offered the job, then decide their family doesn't want to move. Did the coaches pick up on something during the process that raised a red flag an thus they used the family situation as a convenient way out? Just wondering???
  6. True- He is interviewing for his first time tonight. Sent his resume in over the weekend. This has turned into a mucked up mess to say the least.
  7. Sphire did not interview. I was told it was one of his assistants.
  8. Chuck Smith turned down the position late last week. There were a couple of issues involved, family concerns, and something about a large amount of accumulated sick days from his years of service that he stood to lose. Have no idea how that works in the education system. Bottom line is, Smith turned it down and HC was left scrambling. It was a no brainer and there was no one that stood out as choice #2.
  9. Henderson overcomes 8 point deficit at the half to post a 70-60 win Henderson vs Hoptown for Region 2 Championship Saturday night!
  10. Sorry - I am a rookie at this- didn't mean to show it as an article.
  11. You can rest assured he won't see a match up zone tomorrow against Hendo. Hendo will go man to man for 32 minutes straight.
  12. Henderson County has proven that it can move the ball on anybody this year (Evansville Reitz, Christian Co, Bowling Green (albeit a quarter and a half), Meade County) I do not see Eastern being able to handle the Colonels ball control offense. The key to a HC victory is to win the turnover battle and keep the Eastern offense off the field. I believe the winner of this game makes it to the state finals in Bowling Green.
  13. 38-0 Good Guys Defense allows 74 total yards
  14. Henderson had a bye in the first round in 2010 thus playing Fern Creek in the 2nd Round and Male in the Regional Championship.
