  1. What happened to the Camel volleyball coach? No one seems to know. I hear she is gone after winning a lot of games. :taz:
  2. Was rearranging the Camel Numbering System after today :thumb:
  3. OK I think 1 is 5, 2 is 6, 6 is 3, 4 is 12, and 7 is 4 for sure.
  4. Last year we had four wins and two over Calvary and one over Silver Grove if I remember. Then our coach hightailed it back to the Alamo
  5. That was last year maybe but unless 9 or 10 were in detention or sick they will have a tough go of it
  6. No pitching and weak defense. I think I would have been 3 for 4 and I'm 38 now and playing with extra baggage on my usually toned body:ylsuper:
  7. Is that Captain Morgan hehe I love that ?
  8. If they are the bottom then Lloyd and us are in the sub basement. I'd say both are in the Top 4 of their Regions. They will both win 20-25 games. I just hope we use that screen thing they use in practice maybe it will snag a few. Gosh we have to play both of them don't rile them up. I love them all.
  9. I feel like I have a damaged :scared:rotator cuff in my belly
  10. I bet that was a good one. I maybe should have gone there. The two pitchers should have been good and both teams can really hit that thing.
  11. I think it's going to be a long year for the Lloyd team. I think it was 11-1 maybe. I am thinking how did they score?
  12. Yeh it was like us today we didn't play anyone in contention
  13. Goodness Lloyd lost to Ludlow. Dayton whamboozled Cov. Latin 28-11. Dayton must be good this year. Today the top game should be NCC at Silver Grove.
  14. They are going to miss the Stuckey girl or whoever their pitcher was. She could hit the tornado out of the ball too.
  15. It was that tall girl basketball player who was the top player this year. She is out for the year Stuckey or Stucklen something like that
  16. I googled Walt and this is what I found....LAMBERT, WALTER (1809–1865). Walter Lambert, early settler in Texas and participant in the battle of San Jacinto, a nephew and protégé of Col. James Power, was born in Ireland, probably Wexford County, in 1809. He lived as a member of the Power family after he moved to Texas to join his uncle's colony in 1834. In the Texas Revolution, Lambert accompanied Ira Westover to Goliad to assist in its capture on October 9, 1835 (see GOLIAD CAMPAIGN OF 1835). As a member of Philip Dimmitt's garrison from October 10, 1835, to January 10, 1836, he was one of the men who signed the memorial protesting the removal of Captain Dimmitt. Lambert was in the Lipantitlán expedition and was a signer of the Goliad Declaration of Independence. Although he had been elected third lieutenant of artillery by the General Council and later by the Convention of 1836, he participated in the battle of San Jacinto as a private in Capt. Robert J. Calder's company. He remained in the army after San Jacinto Sooo actually he was a ghost here the last two years.
  17. I agree. Have a relative at NCC but I don't care. However it seems he hasn't earned the job at his age. There are a lot of Coaches out there. How about Christie McDougal, or somone retired like Ken Shields?
  18. Noooo your not understanding dude. I appreciate your concerns but she told the kids they were ranked top to bottom. 1,2,3,4, It was like MVP voting. 1 was the best player, 2 was the second best player. My daughter wasn't all that low but it wasn't by position or arm strength etc. How would you feel if you were Number 24 or even worse didn't get a number at all? So, when you coached, you would tell your star player they were the best player and your worst player they were the worst in pre-season?
  19. Slow pitch and fast pitch are the same. I flashed leather at an early age. In slow pitch we had to actually hit the ball now you just stick the bat out and if the pitcher throws hard it goes for awhile. I went from a 211 average to 345 to get the Most Improved Award. Bob Jones taught me a lot in softball. He was a good coach. You have to feel good about yourself and look good to do well.
  20. George Gregg coaches her. He is a reknown expert on hitting.
  21. I would have been among the league leaders though. I was Most Improved and Most Photogenic in High School. She plays for a select team in Cincinnati. She got in a few games.
  22. Who is that? Did she play for your school?
