Im sorry, but you cant learn anything from that game, and I take that camelbump does not think much of the pitcher?

I think scrimmages are great, but you cant tell alot from the score. And camelbump, why would your camels scrimmage a team with more losses than your team, thats like false hope.

How do you think you will win the first 10 out of 11? There is Bracken, Boone, Dixie, New Cath, Simon Kenton? Maybe you are confused about the whole numbering system?

No scrimmages for us yet. How did Holmes and Scott look? How was their pitching and hitting?

I also know Sandi Kitchen and seems to be a preety laid back person. I know she is very competitve, and that is good for the lady Camels, but maybe the head coach job has went to her head? Hopefully she can repair anything she has done the to team if any. Good luck the Camels

Thats great to hear for the Shakelford girl and glad she is doing well. Not good for us, we had a hard time hitting her well. She was very good at not throwing the same pitch twice. I also remember she took one to the fence on us at Campbell:eek:

I totally agree with you camelbump. It is a point system that is set up for failure right from the start. My daughter goes to Notre Dame and believe me, there is enough drama that goes on, on our team, but the coach does not look to start any. Like I said earlier in the season, we played the Camels 2 times last year and beat them twice. We weren't a very good team at that. If I were the Camels, I would be totally humiliated, that is a huge school! Maybe that is why the Shakelford girl left the team:idunno: I know when they brought her in to pitch against us, we only scored 1 run off of her. Maybe she didn't have a low number on their point system, maybe that's why she didn't start?? It's just kind of confusing why the coach would want to start up a bunch of drama before the season even gets started:cry: I'm excited about our team this year, and unfortunately we are going to play against the Shakelford girl on Brossart.:cry:

If you haven't had any games or even much practice time, that numbering system is a complete joke. It sound like a popularity contest to me. It is sad that at some schools, they don't base your number on your skill.

Maybe its wishful thinking, but time will tell

I just want to say Notre Dame is going to surprise alot of teams this year. I would even say we are 3rd best in the region

Does anyone know if Campbell Co is going to go with the same pitcher as last year? With only 4 wins? More importantly, who is there catcher going to be, since they lost a senior

With the new Shackleford girl there, I think their pitching will be just fine. We played against her last year, she is a good addition to Brossart.

I guess good teams dont rebuild, they just reload. I know when Campbell Co and Notre Dame played last year, Notre Dame was beating CC 6 to 0 in the 2nd inning and they brought in Shackleford and CC only lost 7 to 5. 1 run in 5 innings, preety impressive for an eight grader. Dixie has a good young pitcher too dont they?

I think she pitched some varsity, my opinion of what I seen of Campbell County, she should have pitched more.

Now I know who she is, she was preety good. That Mel always seems to end up smelling like a rose. With her and Reiley they should be fine.

I know about the Reiley girl, she pitched jv last year. Did Shackelford play for Brossart? I don't remember her?

Does anyone know who Brossart has at the pitcher and catcher position? With Miller and Griffith graduating, was wondering if they had anyone stepping in?
