  1. Yes, Will is playing with Hoop Dreams again this year. We have all but one player back but have added a new one as well. Sounds like the Magic will have a good 16U team. And congrats on Hagen's sophomore year. He had a good one. Talented young man.
  2. Come on PP, where's the love? JK😀.Seriously,Hoop Dreams 15U will be good again. They won state last year and did really well on the national circuit as well. They are pre-season #13 in the nation in Division 1 AAU club power rankings. Also 16U team won state last year, and added one of the best players in the state in Dikembe Dixon. Don't know if you've had the chance to see him play but WOW. The 17U group looks impressive as well. The 15U team gets to go against both teams in practice, so I've gotten to see the talent. The guy that founded the program, Mike Scott, knows his stuff. He's also the actial coach of the 15U team. Looking forward to the season!
  3. He's right at it. And we sure hope he has more to go! If he ends up around my height, we will be very pleased. Even at 6'4", and hitting the weight room, he should be fine.
  4. **************Sorry, this was a response to the question of what players were in the AAU team with Dow and Williams. This is Hoop Dreams 15U's roster .
  5. Carson Williams 6'5" C/F (Owen) Malik Dow 6'4" F (Ballard) Jordan Perry 5'11" G (Morgan) Paul Price 5'6" G (Henry Clay) Will Hager 6'3" G (Mercer) Malik Manica 5'7" G (Shelby) Anthony Robinson 6'2" F (Frankfort) Zac Pulliam 6'4" F (Harrison) These are returning from last year's team, and that team had some nice showings in big tournaments. Coach may add 1 or 2 more players.
  6. Both Williams and Dow play for the same 15U AAU team - Hoop Dreams based in Lexington. Very strong team. Our pre-season ranking is 13th nationally. Both players are very, very good!
  7. Mercer was ice cold tonight, particularly on threes and FT's. No way we can beat a team with that size shooting that poorly. That said, Somerset has all of the tools to win the next one as well - size, athleticism and shooting. Congrats to the Jumpers and good luck tomorrow night! 8. Unbelievable game. Place was packed. Fain was Fain. Woods was tough. Hit shots but got to rim as well.
  9. Wayne wins by 1 on a three by Woods with 3 seconds left. He had a heckuva game. And what a game!
  10. 59-57 Wayne with 6 min left. Wayne got up by about 7 and Fain went off. Blevins getting wide open inside-out looks and hitting them. But Fain just picked up 4th. Heck of a game.
  11. 33-30 West at half. West shot poorly at the line which is unusual for them. Wayne shooting a lot from the perimeter whereas West is attacking more.
  12. Britt is high energy and a hard worker. Very competitive and energetic. The pace and the D, both of which were very unlike anything Mercer had done all year, were the keys.
  13. How bout those Titans PP? Great game plan that was well executed. Sorry so long for the comment but have had technical problems:)
  14. Great, in-depth analysis - as usual. I've enjoyed reading your coverage all season.
  15. Final from East Jessamine/ Mercer 89-80 in double OT.
