Discipline hasn't been a priority with this coaching staff all the way back to their tenure at Lone Oak. I disagree with acceptance of occasional celebration penalty. It hurts the team too much, especially after a score. The team does not possess a strong kicker so opponents are starting their possessions around the 35 or 40 on returns or the ever present pooch kick. Push the kickoff back 15 yards because of celebration penalty after a score and opponent starts at midfield or better. Not a good proposition going into the playoffs against the Super District teams. It will tough enough to stop them from going 70 yards let alone 50 or less. Most of the kids getting these types of penalties are the same ones who score a lot or make the big plays on defense. They should live up to the old football axiom, "act like you have been there before and expect to be there again." I have seen every game Lone Oak and McCracken has played since 2007 and I don't see other teams getting flagged for these types of penalties as often. Mayfield doesn't do it. Henderson doesn't do it. Graves county doesn't do it. Marshall County doesn't do it. This behavior will be tolerated until a new coach, from outside the current system, arrives.

Moore is a senior. He had taken two seasons off from football. He was very impressive in this coming-out party...very Darren Sproles-like. It is a shame his talents have been wasted on the sidelines during the previous eight games.
