Anyone know why 3 star players were suspended?

Nice win with 3 standouts suspended.

Failed to make practice and maybe some other team rules. Glad Haskins made the point and the rest of the kids did a great job. Zach Moore and Cash Jones were awesome!

McCracken knew they had a future star in Cash Jones, but where the heck did Moore come from?

I believe Moore is a sophomore. In the last game against Daviess he had a huge run for a touchdown.

Moore is a senior. He had taken two seasons off from football.

He was very impressive in this coming-out party...very Darren Sproles-like.

It is a shame his talents have been wasted on the sidelines during the previous eight games.

Henderson County gets a shot at squaring the series with the Rocks! I was at the last game these two met in Commonwealth Stadium in 1976.

McCracken will get a battle tested Manual squad that fought Male tooth and nail tonight before losing 28-21.

I could not agree more. I'm afraid it will back to the same ole same ole next week.

Hopefully some attitudes have been adjusted.

Nice team win on the road! Glad to see some success in the run game. Excellent job Zach "Flea" Moore and O-line.

Goes to show you football is won at the line of scrimmage. Plug any athlete into McCracken's backfield and they'll do fine against most teams on their schedule. Better hope they're back for playoffs or it'll be 1 and done. Heard in the Daviess game they had alot of issues with unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Maybe this is a carryover from that too.

Put it this way, discipline hasn't been a priority since day one at McCracken. With that said, these penalties have been of celebration variety and not taunting at least. The three against Daviess were all in the endzone after TD's (3 in a row, ridiculous and shouldn't be tolerated). It's getting to the point the refs are looking for it and the Mustangs need to wise up.

Note: game against Graves Co a DB thinks he has an int and runs toward the McCracken sideline holding the ball up with one hand as to say "I got it". Gets flagged.

Last night, different DB knocks down a big 4th down pass attempt and makes the "incomplete signal" and in no way was it over the top or taunting. Gets flagged.

I can handle the occasional celebration penalty on a big play. These are still kids and the game is suppose to be fun, but the coaches need to emphasize how it hurts the team and correct 90% of this stuff.

Discipline hasn't been a priority with this coaching staff all the way back to their tenure at Lone Oak.

I disagree with acceptance of occasional celebration penalty. It hurts the team too much, especially after a score. The team does not possess a strong kicker so opponents are starting their possessions around the 35 or 40 on returns or the ever present pooch kick. Push the kickoff back 15 yards because of celebration penalty after a score and opponent starts at midfield or better. Not a good proposition going into the playoffs against the Super District teams. It will tough enough to stop them from going 70 yards let alone 50 or less.

Most of the kids getting these types of penalties are the same ones who score a lot or make the big plays on defense. They should live up to the old football axiom, "act like you have been there before and expect to be there again."

I have seen every game Lone Oak and McCracken has played since 2007 and I don't see other teams getting flagged for these types of penalties as often. Mayfield doesn't do it. Henderson doesn't do it. Graves county doesn't do it. Marshall County doesn't do it.

This behavior will be tolerated until a new coach, from outside the current system, arrives.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's acceptable, just that I can handle it as a fan. Also to clarify, the spontanous caught up in the moment celebrations. Like when the whole group just hangs in the endzone a tad long jumping and hand slapping with raw emotion because they just made an incredible TD. Not the dancing and posing crap. Either way, you're right it will bite them in the rear eventually.
