From my sources....The 3 players in question will not be making the trip to Henderson County. And yes, 2 of the 3 will be notable with their absence from postgame stats, Glad to see Haskins stand by this. Problem with staff still remains. These players assumed that nothing would be done to them based upon who they are for missing a portion of practice because they were coaching/attending a powder puff game yesterday.

In full agreement, but I will believe it when I see it. This coaching staff is certainly not the strict disciplinarians that people seem to think. From recent history, there are clearly different sets of rules for 'special' players on this team...and has been this way for years at Lone Oak and now McCracken. Case in point, McCracken gets flagged for unsportsmanlike penalties after 3 touchdowns last week against Daviess County. No coach talked to any of the penalized players in regards to their actions. After the third penalty, Haskins appeared to be yelling at players for the penalty...only problem with this was the offending players were 30 yards down the sideline from Haskins and no coach talked to those players either. I watched the coaches and players closely for several minutes afterward just to see if anything would be said. Noting was. These types of penalties will prove costly in field position down the road since the kicker doesn't possess a strong leg, but coaches must not have felt they warranted correction. During this stretch of unsportsmanlike penalties, another Mustang got flagged for a personal foul on kickoff coverage and got chewed out for the penalty by several coaches as he came to sidelines. A different set of rules involved? Seems so. Earlier in the season, another player was suspended by Haskins for fighting. But this suspension got bumped down from being a severe punishment to a joke punishment. This player can be seen to have "pull" with coaching staff and resulting punishment proves it. Reading tweets from past and current players in regards to this suspension show those players have a complete lack of respect towards the coaching staff's "disciplinary" measures. From this person's perspective, that alone is speaks volumes. As for the three players who fall in the 'special player' category, I can see them not starting the game, but it will go against the grain if Haskins lives up to these suspensions. I hope he proves me wrong, but I am not going to hold my breath,
