Does anyone know if only Ky is set up like that? Most of the top players I see are multiple Mr. Basketball winners.

T scored 9 on X and I believe 14 on Manual, I could be wrong on that one.

Didn't T score 48 vs Meade? I'm going with X having the best defense in 6a. As aforementioned in reference to another team, X's offense wasn't good and the defense had to compensate for them.

I think this in combination with skill set is why I asked that question.

He's put up great numbers to start the season correct? If he has a great showing at KOB he should be right in the thick of things, I believe.

Also for the record, I don't think he is great. He has all the tools to be great but great players are consistent. Something he is not right now. He is always consistent on the defensive end but offensively not so much.

Drew shoots 3's, I'm asking because I'm ignorant to his whole game. Maybe you haven't seen ray play if you don't say he see's the floor as most guards do( ask Walter). Explain the drew continue to bang please.

To you and feeling good. I can't tell someone there wrong because of their opinion, I can only disagree with it. Just because I think my guy is better doesn't mean I dont think McDonald isn't good as well. I think people are misconstruing my sentiments. Also if u read my post along with all the other scouters/recruiters etc, I've mentioned multiple times consistency is ray's biggest problem. But it is an area he is getting better in.

Question to those saying McDonald's skill set is better. What part of his game is better than Ray's? Shooting? Dribbling? Passing? Court vision? Ability to push the floor? Defense?

I think you would be better served to use the quote option buddy.

A lot of people don't understand how hard it is to see his skill set in the T offense. He's limited.

I wasn't saying the AAU circuit is better everybody knows that is no where near the case. All I was saying was to look at the situation as "Ray ran from competition" is completely false. As far as the skill set comment, neither of us are really qualified to make that assessment so we will agree to disagree. Good luck to drew and everyone else the rest of the season.

Walter did mention in the other post, no other player in the state impacts the game as ray does. But once again with that being said, he does lack the top level consistency some others have but he has only gotten better and will continue to improve in that area.

If you didn't understand the situation then your perception will always be skewed. To each his own I guess. All he can do is play at this point. McDonald is a heck of a player from what I've seen on film, but skill wise, I'm not sure where the comparisons even begin.

There's not many big men in the country with Ray's skill set and upside. His problem has always been consistency which is continuously getting better. If anyone watched him play over the summer they would know that.

Did you read thru the update thread and see that he was hurt when he exited the game? Or was you at the game and see him get hurt and hobble into the locker room?

Oh no sir. I do apologize, but he was hurt and played sparingly.
