Quite right! On January 27 Holmes plays Beechwood. Of course if Holmes wins then CCH plays HC to get out of the 35th. No pressure. Maybe you and CCIR can work it out. Blame the refs if CCH loses...again!
After big district wins over CovCath and HC this week this will be a 'can you handle success' game for Holmes. 8 of Holmes' 13 wins are by 10 points or less...Holmes by 10.
I would argue that the history of the teams in the 35th would justify a mid season round robin. It would be different than 33, 34,36. None of those districts have the winning tradition, bittter rivalries and high level of play that happens in 35. It would be special/unique.
This wrinkle makes a rivalry special. Like when IU would not play UK in Lexington and the games were played in L'ville and Indy. Maybe the 35th should do a round robin at NKU over a weekend.
