No frosh are dressed tonight.

1. HHS was a 3A size school playing up to 5A based on geographic isolation. 2. After the KHSAA reclassification, HHS is close to the smallest school in 4A. 3. Over the last several years, enrollment is actually up across the entire Fort Thomas school district.

Houliston looked strong again today. Threw for 4 TDs - Greene(2), Brockett, and Allen. 2 rushing TDs - Henderson and Hayes. I believe Hayes touched the ball once for a 40 yard score. Very hot for the guys. Many water breaks taken. A couple of the boys were getting overheated. Absolutely the right decision to call the game.

Not sure there is any good reason to play one of your starting varsity wide receivers as a JV quarterback when you have already experienced some injuries at the wide receiver position. Trinity overall just too big to handle. BTW...#10 is Drew Houliston, sophomore, who I think took about 99.9% of the snaps for the Frosh team last year. #45 for Trinity is going to have an AMAZING four years!! Mr. Football 2014?

Being independent has nothing to do with funding. Fort Thomas is actually bigger than many county systems. KERA is a complicated formula that does not do Fort Thomas any favors (or Beechwood, Campbell, Boone, or Kenton either). Fort Thomas funds over 60% of the school system with local tax dollars. Only a handful of school systems in the state have to do that.
