The distance on which a football player will travel has a direct relationship on the level of the school in my opinion. For example, if I had D3 talent I would most likely stay in about a 3 hour radius of NKY. Now say USC comes calling I would seriously consider them. Although the specific situation in which you posted refutes my opinion haha. Thought'd I would answer for you since there are not many high school seniors with a BGP account.:thumb:

People come to Highlands because they are the best football program around and if you want to excel to the fullest extent in football you come to Highlands. We dont go get them, they come to us! :thumb:

This is the only congraulatory thread where this has happened. Mainly because the kid hasnt even taken a varsity snap yet. This is a discussion forum. And were all adults here. We can question things if its a reasonable question to discuss. Which this is.

Well according to the people I was talking to, SK had there 1's in. But both teams now are subbing.

Then why is he not starting at SK? I know Lawrence is there but if he is as good as Pike he should start over Lawrence.

We all hope he does well. Can we not question whether we think a certain athlete will excel at a particular position? We didnt quesiton his character, we brought up the debate on what position he would play at the next level and why. Before I make an educated opinion on his chances at QB at the next level I would like to watch some of his regular season games. Especially when they play Highlands. Then Ill go from there. Well usually someones 1st team starts the 7 on 7. Thats kind of standard in most athleitcs events. Your 1st team starts. :thumb:

No one ever questioned his ability to play football at the D1 level. Some just question what position these scholarships have been offered for and what position he will excel at the most. The kid is huge and pretty athletic so obviously he can play somewhere D1, we just dont know what position yet and I think after a few games this season we will know much more about his projectability.

Now 6-2 Bluebirds, Towles threw 3 TD's on his 1st 3 pass attempts all about 40 yds. long.

Highlands is torching SK by the way...
