Mercer, out hustled, out played and out coached McCreary. IMO the best team in the region is headed home.

In last night's women's game between Baylor and Texas Tech, Brittany Griner punched a Texas Tech player in the face for it she gets three games. Shame on you NCAA and Baylor, she should be suspended for the rest of the year. No place for that in either the men's or women's game.

Leg, I couldn't agree more. Can I say this, the girls in the region are more competitive than the boys. Or at least we will see beginning tomorrow night.

WOW! Was I wrong. Garrard and Rock was a tremendous game. Rock pulled it out. Then the upset of the 12th region thus far, Monticello beating Mercer County. Monticello, out hustled, out played, out everything compared to Mercer. Great job by Coach Kelsch!

Great game, seemed like Rock came out tenative early, settled down and played well. I think if you were going to beat Rock tonight would have been the night, can't see them playing that poorly the rest of the tourney. Coach Bolin did a great job with his girls tonight and a turnover here or there and they could have pulled off a major upset!

I don't think tomorrow's games will be near as good or close or competitive as tonight's were.

Kansas. Why?

1 - UK doesn't not have a consistent outside presence.

2 - Kansas has better experience.

3 - In a game setting, Self is a better Coach than Cal. (okay I'm ducking now).

After the dust clears I feel it will be a Rock/Lincoln final, with Rock winning a close one.

Sportster, I believe you are right with a Lincoln/Rock final, I think it will be a great game this time around and not the double digit win it was when they played early in the year. I just have a gut feeling that this time around Lincoln will find a way to win. Either way, the 12th Region will be well represented at Diddle by Rock or Lincoln in the Sweet 16!

Tough opening draw for the Pats. But, the region goes through Casey and Rock. You got to beat them both to win the region. The 12th region is pretty deep this year. Gonna be tough teams no matter who you play.

And the last two times Rock played Casey Rock won by 8 and LOST by 1.... Look at the second round... Don't you think Rock would rather play SW than Mercer?

The last time Rock played Casey was Thursday and beat them by 26. And no, I don't think Rock would rather play SW than Mercer. Mercer's big girl can't guard Hammonds and they have no one that can guard Alexander either. I think Rock breezes through both of those games. I think Lincoln will win both of their's as well, but I think the game with Casey will be a war, more so than any of the games Rock has to play. Plus if SW is hitting the 3's they can be dangerous. But if they are not, Lincoln will put them away early. That's just my opinion.

And the last regular season game Lincoln beat Casey by 1.

The combined record of the teams in Rock's bracket are 56-26.

Of the two favorite teams to win this region, Lincoln and Rock, I'd much rather play Garrard and Mercer/Monticello winner than I would Casey or SW/East.
