Unless Estill puts the ball on the ground 7 times again, and 4 in the Red Zone, I don't think Garrard can beat them. But if Estill does that than Garrard has a chance.

Wow, I am also shocked by this score.

Also, I think officials should not call with the same crew each week. I think white hat should be given a game and individuls officials should be assigned to him.
As a white hat I would not want to call a game each with with different officials. This year, I lost a member of of my crew for personal reason, and brought on a new member and it has taken us several weeks to find our way. When you work with the same guys you learn to trust them to call their area and you don't have to "over" officiate, or in other words I don't have to fish in another officials pond.

Denard Robinson for sure. He is putting up sick rushing and passing numbers. I dont see them losing other then to Ohio State and if they beat them then he is a shoe in.
Are you serious? They have to go to Madison, and Iowa City. They will lose both of those.

Panthers, he is from the Carolina's.
Bill grew up outside of Pittsburgh. In played in Cleveland. I really think he is headed to the NY Giants. The way Pittsburgh feels about Dallas and Jones, I can't see him going there. I don't see him going anywhere he has to play Pittsburgh twice a year, so that eliminates Cleveland, Baltimore and Cincinnati. I could see him in Houston as well. But I think the NY Giants is where Bill lands.

Mark Ingram has my vote. He's the best player in the country. I really like DRob, but the only way I'd take him over Ingram is if Michigan can get to 9 or 10 wins with a win over OSU or Wisconsin. Even then I would probably still vote for Ingram.
I second that vote!

Somerset should just take the JV team, and a small bus and save fuel.
-
He has certainly let people know he is back.
He personally put Bama on his "Back" today and carried them to victory.

For Kick Catch Interference, here are the options. First - they can take the result of the play. (Don't think they will do that since they didn't possess the ball. Or the can accept the penalty. If they accept the penalty, you go 15 yards from the previous spot, and re-kick the ball. Third - Or than can accept the ball at the spot of where the kick catch interference occurred.

While I know we are quoting football coaches, and this is a football forum, I can't help but quote possibly the greatest coach of all time, and a great teacher as well. John Wooden.
Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability. If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?
If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?
And my favorite John Wooden Quote: Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

I think we might as well get over it guys, 6 classes is here to stay regardless if it's a success or a failure.

If Whitley beats Bell then yes there are a Top 10. How about Pulaski taking Henry Clay to Double Overtime and dropping. WOW.
-
One's that I noticed was Bell County dropped to 3-A, Mercer dropped to 4-A after I heard they were moving to 6-A. Somerset moved to 2-A, Apollo moved to 5-A, Letcher Central to 4-A, Union County dropped to 2-A, Bath County moved up to 2-A

Well I expect Boise to have a let down next week then, since their season is pretty much over.
It will be Wyoming that will have the let down, since one of their players lost his life and 3 others hurt in a car accident.
-
Except for the fact that you don't know what that team has added since the season before, or much about the newer players coming in. Or the bad things that happen in week one such as bad snaps, penalties, and blown assignments that are much more prevalent in the early part of the season. Plus, you have to worry about getting ready for the season too. It's not like VT was the only thing Boise worked on this off-season.
Are you serious? That was Boise's season last night. If they lose that game no way do they make it to the NC game. Everything was on the line last night for Boise. And you seen bad snaps, penalties, missed/blown assignments last night that lead to a 17 point lead for Boise.

I only see four schools there....and of those 4, Bama went 6-7 in 2006 so I don't know how you can say them. USC last year was an absolute disappointment. Florida with Tebow would be comparable, and maybe Texas...you have 18 more schools to name...
True, and Bama didn't play La. Tech, Idaho, Utah St., New Mexico St. either. Again USC didn't play those 4 teams mentioned, they played a tougher schedule. Take the 4 schools previously mentioned and play Boise's schedule. Heck, UK would be favored in 10 of the 12 games on Boise's schedule. Nebraska could run the table, WVU could run the table, Iowa,

To clarify, BEZebra means moved East and West Jessamine to district 7. I weighed that and will probably change it.
As for the Russell County/Catholic deal, that is likely what the KHSAA will do. Either way works. Russell County is sort of an anomaly; they don't seem to fit anywhere.
As for Somerset, I would think they would try to move to 3A. But if they can't, I thought a trip to Glasgow was easier than a trip to Fort Knox!
You are so right with regards to Russell County. I know they are wanting to come back to the 12th region in Basketball and Baseball. I agree Somerset will try to move up, but from what I'm hearing that is not going to happen, schools are going to be required to play in their class. You're right a trip to Glasgow would be easier, but thought the Danville/Somerset would be interesting. Anyway, great job. I like what you have done.

Since 2006, Boise St. Has lost a total of FOUR games. Let me say that one more time...FOUR games since 2006. THREE of which came in one season. So, 3years of the past four, Boise has lost a total of one game. I don't care who you are, who you play, where you play, or when you play. That is pretty darned impressive. Some of you people make it sound like Boise St can't play with the big boys because they whip up on all the small guys and that's just too easy. What else are they supposed to do? Go undefeated and win a couple BCS bowls? Check. Start off the season with a win against a top 10 team from a BCS conference? Check. Be the winningest team of the decade? Check. What more do you guys want?
With the schedule they have played, since 2006, I can name you 20 schoools that would have went undefeated too. Bama, Florida, Texas, USC,

Will Oregon St or Fresno St meet your standards of "good"? Or will they not count because it's at home?
Oregon St. got beat by TCU (who I predict will play Boise for the NC), they will get beat by Boise, and lose at least 3 games in the PAC-10 which would make them 7-5 I call that average at best. Fresno, beat Cincy, the rest of the season they play at Ole Miss, but Ole Miss doesn't look to be much after this past weekend. Then it's to the all powerful WAC conference. So I would say Fresno is average as well.
-
It was the first week of the season, how prepared could they have been?
Very prepared. You've got all the spring and fall to work on it. Instead of a week to prepare for the team.
-
To my Garrard County friend great job and a lot of hard work! The only difference I would make would be this. In 5-A I would move Montgomery County and Madison Southern to District 6 and move East & West to District 7 only because they are in the region for other sports right now. In 4-A I would keep Russell County in District 2 and move Lex. Cath to D-4 to keep them in Boyle's district. In 4-A district 7 could be a lot of fun. In 2-A I'd move Somerset to District 4. Only to have them in the same district with Danville.
-
I knew someone would bring this up. VT couldn't, and they're pretty darn good. No excuses besides Boise was better. Can't use the "one game" line because it was both of their's first game. Can't use "their conference beats each other up all season long". Boise may not deserve to be in the national championship game but there's no way someone could seriously say they can't play with any team in the country.
They beat OU a few years ago when they had several weeks to prepare. They beat Va Tech when they had a whole off season to prepare. I'd like to see them play a good team when they have a week to prepare and see how that fair.

Speaking of Ohio State, they don't even leave Columbus until October. If you want a cupcake schedule, look no farther than the Luckeyes. Boise could easily run the table with their schedule. They opened with Marshall, then get the U on their home field, then it's MAC city as they host Ohio U and E. Michigan. Give me a break. Boise traveled across the country and beat a very good team with 80K plus cheering against them. OSU would never be so brave.
They play Miami at home which is correct. And teams like The Ohio State, Bama, Florida, and others earn the right to play a weak OOC because of the Wisconsin's, Iowa's, Penn St.'s on their schedule. Va. Tech maybe the 4th best team in the ACC. I'm sorry didn't OSU go to LA and play USC and to Austin and play TX recently?

Don't think there will be any playing up guys, you are going to have to play in your class. At least that's what I've heard.
