Honestly, I see Holy Cross taking the 2 seed and playing Beechwood first game of the districts (at HC).

They do have a good gameplan. They have a chance.

You may be right, but I think the style will affect this group without the leadership of Henderson. They have already been T'd up a few times. Last year that wouldn't have happened. They will also get lazy on D.

If they play good D, slow the game down and take Holmes out of their style, and hit some shots outside they have a fighting chance. If they play Holmes' style, they will lose by 30

No the slowed down game gets in Holmes' head and they will not be the same. They will get tired of playing tight D and will get spread and HC will capitalize.

If they play fast with Holmes anywhere they will lose. They are also not used to runnin and gunnin.

I see the Cats by 12 at home 77-65. I will be attending this game and want to see the Cats start out on the right foot in SEC play.

I just checked the KHSAA website and the 35th goes like this: 1999-Holmes 2000-Holy Cross 2001-Covington Catholic 2002-Holmes 2003-Holy Cross 2004-Covington Catholic 2005-Holmes 2006-Holy Cross 2007-Covington Catholic 2008-Holmes 2009-It would only make sense to be HC.

The last time HC hosted was '06. I have also spoken with Julian (HC AD). It is at HC. I don't think Beechwood even gets an option to host.

The 35th District Tournament will be at Holy Cross this year. It was in 2000, 2003,2006, and will be this year. They host it every third year.
