I'm back, had to go to our Basketball Banquet. See there wasn't much going on after I left, but the same small bashing of my beloved Bulldogs. IMO this is a great web site to voice mine and your opinion. We have that right here in the US and here in KY. I really do like that there is so much talent in KY. Just wish some or most of the boys can stay here to play college ball in Ky. Beleive it or not I respect all of your opinions, I love the way everyone fights for there team. So if we run into each other please say hi. If you are an adult we might have to have a drink. If you are a student, say hi and you will have a coke on me! IMO after reading all the replies throughout this thread from Eky, Nky, well the whole state. Most of the comments are from the teams that really don't want the Bulldogs to win because of the fear of facing the Dawgs or because of sour grapes of Holmes run the last 5 years. :sssh: I promise the state of KY, if you come to Rupp Arena and get to watch the Bulldogs. You will be surprised of the athletic ability of these boys, who without a dought in my mind has the best defense you will ever see in High School basketball. That is straight up man to man defense. No zone-:taz:-Period!!! Any player on that court, "not just the starters" they get so low in a defensive position and will be in your chest throughout your movement of the ball :isurrender: is that of no other high school team I have seen. I have heard fans say the Dawgs don't score enough to win down state and your team ave's 70 or 80. It won't happen if they play the Bulldogs. :thumb: Then you will hear other fans say, they only ave 60 pts. a game. I have been to 30 of the 34 games this year.(My bad Dawgs for missing 4 :lol:) I have seen throughout NKy the teams slow the ball down all the time. I can probably count about 10 times where a team didn't get to shoot a shot after half time for a full 2 minutes. Almost the whole ninth region had to slow the game down because they thought it was the only way to be able to run with the Bulldogs. If the opposing team holds the ball from 45 seconds to 2 min. There won't be many high scoring games. :idunno: So in closing, I am heading south to Rupp next Wed. Plan to bring my son. Christian County (21-6) - Average 76+ ppg and win by 11 per. Haven't played anyone in the Sweet 16. 9. Anderson County (24-5) - Allowing under 49 ppg and win by almost 14 per game. 0-1 vs. the field (neutral court loss to Elliot Co., 72-76) 10. Bowling Green (26-6) - 63+ ppg. 1-0 vs. the field (Grayson Co.) 11. West Jessamine (26-8) - 67 ppg. 1-0 vs. the field (Lex. Cath.) 12.
