  1. I don't think I have ever seen that Hurley goes out on the floor and touches his player to move him into the offense then rips the official when he gets a warning and gives the ball to Purdue. I really would think that would be a technical but I guess not.
  2. Yes he would and so should Painter as well. But I am sure they are Purdue fans like Kentucky fans that will say he cannot go out and play for them that the players have to perform on the court.
  3. UConn with their largest lead of the night now at 17 at 59-42 at the under 8 timeout. This is looking to be yet another double digit win for the Huskies.
  4. I agree they only shoot 36% from 3 as a team and especially now with Spencer not in the game. He is the only one that plays that shoots better than 40%.
  5. UConn has the biggest lead at the under 12 timeout at 51-38.
  6. UConn is starting to take control and pull away this is a big next 5 minutes for the Boilermakers. Sorry I was away for a bit because for the first time in 420 days since my accident at school I have to get up and go back to work at Frederick Douglass in the morning to help with testing and helping students in danger of not passing. I am looking forward to it as it has been a long 14+ months since I last got up at 7 to go to school.
  7. UConn leads 36-30 at the half. In their last 45 games that they have led at the half they are 45-0. That is not good news for Purdue.
  8. 30-25 UConn at the under 4 timeout. Purdue has 5 turnovers they will need to cut those down to have a shot I think.
  9. Turning into a good game it is now 18-16 UConn at the under 12 media timeout.
  10. UConn leads 11-9 at the first media timeout of the game. Both teams seem to have some nerves at the start of this one.
  11. I just on the TBS pregame show that Jay Wright just said he was not interested in the Kentucky job and was very happy with what he was currently doing.
  12. No I think it was TBS two years ago they have been alternating the past few years between CBS and TBS.
  13. I just saw a couple interesting facts I did not realize about UConn and Blue Blood status (I say they are already and without a doubt with a win tonight). Fact 1 a win tonight will make UConn's all-time record in the National Championship game at 6-0. Fact 2 if UConn wins tonight most know it will be their 6th title in the last 25 years (actually 24 with no 2020 tournament) what I did not realize none of the so called blue bloods (Kentucky, UCLA, North Carolina, Duke, Kansas and Indiana) not only have none of these 6 programs won 6 titles in the last 25 years they have not won 6 titles in the last 50 years.
  14. Karter Knox has just decommitted and opened back up his recruitment. Probably the first of many, I would say all of the recruits will with the exception of Travis Perry.
  15. No one has really talked about that I have seen, but while I always thought it was crazy giving someone a lifetime contract now what to me makes it look even worse, he would have received $33 million if fired. However, he can leave as he is and go to another program (even one in the SEC) and the contract had no buyout so that if this happened another school would have to pay Kentucky something. I guess it is worth it, but I would be curious to see how many major college programs besides Kentucky have no buyout on their coach.
  16. College Game Day on now before the National Title game just reported that the final arrangements are being completed today and will be announced as the Hogs new coach tomorrow. If not by tomorrow afternoon there may be some issues.
  17. Reds get two runs in the bottom of the 2nd one on a homerun by Benson.
  18. Don’t know either what that means that was the reporters words not mine, but I assume it means money wise.
  19. I have seen a few reports on that possibly as early as this Wednesday or Thursday that Kentucky intends to offer Dan Hurley a deal that “he can’t refuse” according to sources close with Kentucky’s AD Mitch Barnhart The deal would reportedly make Dan Hurley the highest paid coach in college basketball history. They do now have an extra $33 million they don’t have to pay out.
  20. Why would he have to wait until the end of the NBA season, he doesn’t have a ball and chain attached to the Chicago bench does he?? Donovan first then I would call Pitino, bury the hatchet, I think BBN would love it!!!
