Joe Burrow out for the remainder of the season
16thBBall Fan replied to futurecoach's topic in National Football League (NFL)
We made any changes yet??? Just saw this, everybody talks about how bad Andrew Luck got beat up and it shortened his career. Times sacked: Andrew Luck in 55 games- 115 times. Joe Burrow in 52 games- 148 times Change(s) HAVE to happen!! -
Final a good win on the road for the Cards and they clinch a birth in the ACC conference championship game vs. Florida State. Congrats to the Cards. Next up the University of Kentucky.

Boyle is I think by far the better team on paper. One thing that could work in Franklin's favor is how ready for this game will Boyle be after they have been told for weeks that the Corbin game will be for the State Championship. I think this will be the biggest task for Coach Haddix is getting the team focused on this game. If he does so the Rebels fairly easy if not it could go either way.

If he stays true to his past I can answer that question for you, NO, especially not the son of a player he coached at Memphis, and I’m not knocking on the kid, I think DJ can be a heck of a player, works his behind off on D, just really struggled shooting the 3 so far, Edwards has been the biggest disappointment for me so far, projected 4th pick in the draft??? Haven’t seen anything anywhere close to that

They do think this injury happened on the play before the TD, Clowney knocks him to the ground after the pass and falls on him, I went back and watched it, the wrist did look awkward -
Bell County 38 East Carter 36 (OT)

This was posted on social media from the game last night and I thought I'd share. "I want to let y'all know what kind of people East Carter has. Bell cheerleaders took up donations in our stands for our students involved in a bad crash this week. We lost 1 of them and the other is in the hospital. It was announced on the P.A. that they would be doing so. EC school officials came and ask for the bucket to be passed on their side too and their fans helped as well. They didn't have to do that. That's what we need more of in this land. Thank you, East Carter fans and God Bless, you." -
Absolutely, high basketball IQ, very sound fundamentally, plays under control most of the time, sounds like his dad, MVP of the ‘98 national championship!!

Congrats to Station and to @coachhawkon the win! Hey maybe Station and Douglass can both rent charters from the same company and get a discount. lol

Fredrick Douglass 21 Male 20

Also the 3 main guys to have carries tonight for Douglass was a freshman, sophomore, and a junior. The quarterback Strautman is a sophomore. -
I was just looking at the 12 state semifinals games next week across all classes based on this year's RPI that only 3 of the 12 games will be played east of Louisville. I just found that interesting. Also, maybe even more interesting is that 5 of the 12 games are being played west of Louisville. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Some of Douglass supporters thought the team was a down some this year, but they played a killer schedule and I for one am certain if they had not played the schedule they played this year. If it had been like the ones they were forced to play in past 6 seasons they would not have won that game tonight. I applaud Coach McPeek for not worrying about regular season wins and knowing what his team needs to win big games in the 6A playoffs and showed tonight. Going into tonight the 4 teams that beat Douglass in the regular season were a combined 43-5. -

They were asking for donations to have enough they said to pay to the KHSAA to carry the game I think I am going to send them a donation. They were great the hardest I have ever laughed watching a sporting event. My wife came in my man cave and said I thought you were watching high school football. -

That ended up being a thumping. LCA defense was non-existent tonight. -
Big for the Rams!

Very proud of my Raiders most had them getting thumped or maybe even running clocked but they gave Bell everything they wanted. Another great season for the Raiders and their stud running back Yoak is just a sophomore.
