7th grade Knights were missing 2 starters vs Rockets. One won't be back until late January. This team could not compete against the U14 Tarheels or the U14 Knights (Gieman). It can compete against most of the NKY U14 team's.

I also believe that the refs at SOAS do a good job. Officiating is alot like coaching....you'll find some good ones and some bad ones. Overall they do a good job.

Turkeyfoot could challenge Ockerman. Turkeyfoot has 4 fairly strong AAU players and obviously Ockerman has Stanley. If they can find a way to contain Stanley Ockerman can be beat.

Having many teams in each division is a good thing. However, SOAS has the most expensive league by far. It has been the only game in town and it's convenient for N. KY teams. It will be interesting to see what team's will do next year when Midwest Hoops gets it's cheaper league organized. competition will bring down league fee's.

It's probably a good idea to leave it up to the team. If we are all being honest there are 3 or 4 other teams that should have gone D1 as well...not mentioning names ...Omega, KY Elite, Suns and Scott Co. Wolfpack (the defending champs)!!!!!!

Give Midwest Hoops (Cincy & N. KY sites) league a look. They are offering the same league as the SWO. I believe it's $150 for the league not including ref fee's. The gate is $3 for an adult. 12 game schedule. You can stay at the N. KY site or you can have a mixed schedule of N. KY and Cincy games.

Robinson will do fine. He can dribble well...6' point guard that can get the ball where it needs to go.

Stanley, Robinson, and Moeves are the players that make that team strong. Stanley (Ockerman) is probably the best player in the N. KY area at the 7th grade level. The Ville is probably the favorite at the U13 D1 level. Knights are a close 2nd.
