I would have to say the best rivalry in the state! It is a game that no matter who has the better talent both teams play hard and its always a very good and close game! I can't wait till that game! They usually meet three times a year in the district championship!

I would think if they scored 49 in the first half and 23 in the second I would assume a lot of the bench players got playing time.

I have trouble believing that Robbie wasn't in the starting lineup till that late! I watched him practice Tuesday and he looked just fine alot of things that were said this week by people were just to keep MC on the edge of the seat so they wouldn't know what was really happening!

I thought the game changer was when Hatton was trapped in the backcourt and threw over the press to Robbie for the dunk! I thought that took MC's fans out of the game and really got CC charged!

I didn't say anyone in this post was making any comment of the sort, I mean in general. I am at that school everyday and all anyone has to say is how over hyped he was, well yeah the hype may have been a little to much but this is one heck of a kid. He is a good kid on and off the court. I truly like him because he doesn't take 25 shots a game, he is using his size and his notoriety as a decoy allowing his teammates to excel. This reminds me of someone who was recently in the news about something like this I believe his name is Stephon Curry a AP player of the year candidate.

Clark vs Montgomery! This rivalry has always been intense but in the past few years it might have gotten a little out of hand! I know for fact that this rivalry is very physical as I have witnessed almost every game of every sport between these two teams for the past 5 years or so.

I believe I was at this game and was probably apart of that incident! Sorry about that!:thumb: I agree the rivalries have began to get out of context when it comes to a rivalry. It used to be alot of people just yelling and screaming at one another and was just more fun! Now its alot more physical, last night the Madison Central Students rushed GRC's home court and a GRC student was assaulted by a young lady from Madison Central. Things have just gotten to out of hand and things are eventually gonna end up where no fans will be aloud to games if this kind of stuff continues. GRC by 13+

He plays more of the PF position taking those long to mid range shots and going to the basket when he wants to. He will adjust in and he does a great job crashing the boards. Vinny will be a fine ball player and everyone needs to get off his back about him playing a little off and saying he isn't good enough to be a D1 player. The kids a sophmore give him a break. He will grow, get some meat on him and will be a great player.

Yes but we are also without our best player in Stenzel. This was the first game that we have played without him and we obviously were a little out of it not having him on the court. I'm not taking anything from MC they played good defense and had a pretty good offensive night. Last night was a lot like our preseason games in which we couldn't hit water if we fell out a boat. We rushed a lot of shots and tried to force a lot of shots. We will be fine come tourney time, we are young and still figuring everyone out. This team will be a tough out against anyone in the state these next three years.

Madison Central came out looking like they were on a mission. They came out ready to play, GRC came out a little confused. I think not having Robbie really hurt them. But again it was an early December game and our first game playing without Robbie. I think we were just a little confused and we were thinking to much instead of just playing GRC basketball.

:thumb::thumb: Patrick and Ryan are for sure the in your face defenders any coach would be glad to have. I saw Patrick take a man that was about 7-9 inches taller than him and he shut him down. Ryans quickness is his game allowing him to get up on his man and stay with his man. They both are fabulous defenders that will be out there giving it there all every game.
