The announcers were looking at the wrong thing on the lane violation on NMSU. Gillenwater stepped into the MSU players box before the shot, and the correct call was made...

I would say that referee probably got a Rick stansbury email about lane violations on Monday.

If you pause the video Wall is inside FF line past Bledsoe before the ball hits the rim.

So is everyone else. The only 2 guys who aren't past the FT line, or inside the box, are Dodson and Patterson.

Just throwing this out there. Wall did commit a lane violation. HOWEVER, he was not the only player to do so. An MSU player was also guilty of this on that very same play. Gottlieb neglected to point that out, and that is why his comments bother me.

Orton got jumped for not grabbing a loose ball and got his feelings hurt. Atleast that's the way I saw it. Came back and apologized for bailing on his team and that was it.

This is a big game for the Cats. It could determine if win the SEC outright, or share it with Vanderbilt. It could also determine if they get a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Cats haven't played well offensively since the Arkansas game IMO. If they don't start hitting some outside shots their post season could end quicker than most expect. Georgia has played several teams close, including Kentucky earlier in the year. They are even tougher at home. I picked the Cats against Tennessee, and that didn't work out to well. :lol: I'll have to go with the Dawgs in this one.

I'm kidding, just giving SSC a hard time. I know this will upset some people again, but I just don't see the Wildcats coming out on top on this one. I hope I'm wrong again, but the Cats will have to play much better than they have been to walk away with a win. I do think the Cats will go in way more focused on this game realizing this game could decide the SEC East winner, and the #1 seed in the SEC tournament.

I don't think the video necessarily proved anything, the one I saw was so blurry and quick it's impossible to tell what exactly happened. Now I don't believe he had time to get 2 or 3 licks in on some fan, but I'm still not convinced Counsins is innocent.

 

And maybe the reporter should apologize when Cal makes Cousins apologize for losing it against UL.

Anyone else heard the rumor that D. Cousins punched a fan (twice)? Supposedly happen while the USC fans were storming the court. It very well may be message board rumors, but I've seen it on a couple other sites.

 

The rumor is that a USC sports anchor saw it happen. At this time I havent' seen a link confirming this, so it's nothing more than a rumor.

That is nothing but a USC fan trying to make Demarcus look bad. Rumor has been debunked.

UT will use that silly press against us. We have John Wall, who is unpressable. Bledsoe is also faster then any player on UT's roster. We will have no problem pounding the life out of them, because we have WAY more talent. Sometimes that's just the way it is.
