Some numbers I've been hearing... At the Top: Bench-? Squat-425 by Cole Potter & Jake Abrams Dead-? Clean-275 by JJ Caudill(without straps) Kitchen hasn't maxed out yet. (Squated 565 as a freshmen). Lyle and Marsh making big gains in the strength and size department!

I believe he can deliver and deliver big for GC. Zach is very coachble/SMART and with this offense that is very important. He'll have the chance to show off his athletic ability as with his arm. People will be surprised with his arm. He's killing the weightroom, he'll becoming in the season at 180-185pounds as a sophmore. I know we play Ashland first game and Ashland will bring it. Look for Corey Lyle, Terry Waugh and Brandon Marsh to get a ton of carries to take any pressure off Zach the first couple of games.

Did Mark Ball quite the team this past week? I think he played Offense/Defense of Tackle last season.

Does Rock have the fullback/linebacker coming back next season? I think his number was #22 or #33. Awesome player!

2 out of the 3 Teams are hurting on the offense/defense of line this up and coming season. The strongest point for GC is the offense/defense of line. Leading the lineman is Junior Brain Grayson with him will be J.J. Caudill, Cole Potter, Shelby Worthington, Chad Timberlake, Jake Abrams, Nick Tackett, Marcus Worthington and I know I've left a couple of names out that play some good minutes for GC. Teams will be surprised with GC this up and coming season.

I signed with Morehead State and I was a "Preferred Walk On". They don' offer scholarship so everybody is a "Preferred Walk On". Divison 1AA. It's the same as a scholarship player except without the money being there. Walk on players transfer alot.

Coach Copley has taken it upon himself of doing the little things throughout the hole program from the high school, middle school to JFL. At the board Coach Copley took to action on the equipment problem and the middle school combining. The last booster meeting Coach Copley said he wanted to have a spring ball for the middle school in late April. There is no regalution for middle school football. He planned on having it for a week. Having a JFL and Middle school camp in the summer. The middle school is a big concern for Coach Copley, he said he's in for the long haul. He has already has some big fund raisers ahead for football. He's building it fast and the season hasn't started. 148days, 9hours and 11minutes until kickoff!

I believe Coach Copley will be the one doing the hiring for the 7th&8th grade coach's. I understand that it will be similar to his practices and the way he does stuff. He wants the players to fill like it's a big family. Yes they voted on it and approved it last night. On how they're going to pay it back I really don't know. Maybe football can stop holding other sports up. JMO! Football has so long to pay it back.

Last night at the board meeting Coach Copley asked the board for $45,000 for equipment. Last year some players were wearing JFL equipment. Brain Grayson had 3 ribs cracked last year at Boyd County because of equipment. Football will have to pay the money back. Also the board approved the middle schools to combine football. Coach Copley voiced how he felt about the situation. Coach Copley was for it, which was the deciding factor in the decison to approve it.

Yes, but GC wasn't down like they've been the past 4years. When Maynard was their the board didn't pay much mind to the football program because the program was doing good. T.J. just had two other coach's helping him. Coach Copley has really put together a great coaching staff. Boosters, Fans, Alumnus and parents have really put the presser on the board to get things done.
