I don't see how you could say that considering Breathitt has probably played at the very least the same competition as Belfry with maybe even a little tougher competition. I quess you don't consider Johnson Central, Lexington Christian, Prestonsburg and Estill(Twice) very good competition.

I think that this has the makings of a good game. Estill has a style of play that has given Breathitt trouble in the past. However I see Breathitt being way to explosive on offense for this to be similiar to the first meeting. Breathitt will move the ball much more easily and win by 2 to 3 touchdowns. You would have to think that Fugate from Breathitt would be the best in the mountains next year and maybe one of the best in the state. He has over 2000 yards for the season already and at 6'3 225 pounds he is a load to bring down. He was benching over 325 at the beginning of the year and continues to gt faster and stronger.

It amazes me that there is still this many people voting for Harlan. I know both teams have improved since the first meeting. It just seems as though Harlan County has the same view of this matchup as they had going into the first matchup. I believe that it will be closer than the first meeting but Breathitt is still too much for the Black bears to handle. Breathitt 34 Harlan 14

This has the making of a very good game this Friday. What is your thoughts and keys to this game? Will Breathitt be able to contain the offensive attack of the eagles?

I have said all year that this team wasn't playing anywhere near their capabilities. I still think that by seasons end tyou will see them playing alot better than we seen tonight. We have our running game going pretty good, if we can only get our passing game going they will be deadly on offense. Haddix is the real deal once he and his receivers get on the same page. I would say that their is not another backin the mountains that combines the overall speed, size, and pure power that Channing posesses. This team is gaining momemtum and looks like it could become a good season for the Bobcats.

Breathitt dropped 3 touchdown passes that would have made this game what it should have been. Estill had a good game plan that consisted of keeping the ball out of Breathitt's hands. Estill had a good defense for the most part but the problem was with our lack of concentration and really we just didn't play sharp at all. I have watched Breathitt pretty much every game over that past 13-14 years and I have never seen a team play with so little heart. Even in practice they just seam to be going through the motions. I still say the talent is there to be a very good team we just have to find a way to be better focused.

This Brethitt team reminds me alot of the 01 team that had Justin at the helm. They started out the 1st four games with a losing record. Mainly because they couldn't pass the ball at all. By the end of the season they had things going and where a completley different team. We all know how they turned it around the next year. Peope don't realize that they lost almost all of their line and only returned 1 of their top 5 receivers from last year. They will be fine once they gain more confidence and Jade gets better routes from his receivers. The talent is there. Holcomb will get it out of them.
