The game really was'nt very close. Adia Mathies is clearly the best player in Kentucky by a long, long way! The second best whould have to be Anna Martin then Ashley Rainey from Warren East and Alex Jones from E-town. Jones just keep getting better and better. Rainey needs to get serious and play harder it is just very hard to evaluate her when she doesn't play with any energy.

When a team is undefeated and beaten everyone they have faced including the #1 or #2 team Manual, you have to consider them in the top 3 somewhere.

I believe like a lot of the posters LCA should be the odds on favorite. However UHA may have an outside shot.

I really like Jackson! She was playing great early then hit a spell where she was just not playing like she was at the beginning. Hopefully she will realize just how good she can be and play with a lot of energy the rest of the way. If she does look out!

Looks like Manual is getting back on track. We will see what happens this week end with them playing Notre Dame a very good team. I look for Manual to keep it going in prepration for the LIT.

Marshall County is a good team. They just do not play to schedule to get them ready to play better teams outside of the 1st Region. It happens every year they look like world beaters down in the 1st which is typically a very weak region and when they step out of the region they do not do very well.

SHA's relentless defense along with their coaching staff was too much for CAL. Slaughter needs to be more engaged, she does not seem to work for the ball, stands around too much and her defense is non existence most of the time. She is a much better player than she is currently showing.

Look for Lincoln to play a very good game but I believe the home court advantage favors Southwestern by less than 5. Casey will prevail at Rockcastle in a very close game.

Looks like Clay County is getting back on track by beating a good Calloway team. It is good to see the little Mitchell kid playing well again. She is only a Freshman and has a world of upside! For Clay to be the team they need to be,Whitney Bell needs to get serious and be the boss that she can be.

The first game of the event is at 7:30PM Friday Elizabethtown vs Mercy.

Highlands will get the win, not sure how much. They will bring a lot of heat.

Does anyone know the nature of her illeness? She is a super coach and a great individual. She and Hop were great ambassodors for the basketball program and the community!

NH has 3 really good players. I believe Smiley has more maturity and more skills than the other 2 and can create more for the team than the others. I am not saying she is better than the other 2, I think they all bring assets to the team and she can get them going!

I like the way Highlands play "D", they do wear you down with the presssure. They look like they are one of the solid favorites to be in Bowling Green. Excellent coaching and some good players that execute.

Well I thought the home court would pull Lincoln thru! Sounds like it was a super game, anyone have the stats?

The ones I have seen a lot are Megan Gearheart; Kandi Brown, Laura Terry and Emily Queen. They were not only great players but great kids!

I hope you are right, they have a decicated coaches and some good players. Now that the KHSAA has done some good things to curb the recruiting of assets in that region, maybe some of those kids will stay home that in the past have ended up playing at Catholic.

Home court may be the difference tonight. I believe Lincoln will get them tonight.

I am sure they have some good players and will get a lot better. They are just not at the level of Martin, Barnette and Clifton. That is 3 awfully good players on the same team. Franklin County is a good team they just don't have that kind of talent right now.

Who played well for the Pandas? What was the box on each of the players?

Thanks Jessie, the Rowe kid is playing like a major player and getting attention from U of K, Indiana and has been offered by WKU. She is playing better right now than any other Junior in the state! Do you know if the Lucas kids are twins?

Not an upset, Calloway has some very good players in Cunningham and Fields. Plus their coach has matured over the years and is a very good game coach. It will be a coin toss between Marshall and Calloway for the trip to Bowling Green.

Does anyone have the box score? How did Rowe play ie. rebounds, points etc.
