If Boyle is going to win they are going to have to get good gaurd play. In the games we have lost are guards have struggled. Inside game is consistant with Glasscock, Aumiller, and Tritapoe. It seems the Rebels go the way the guards go. Hopefully they will play good Friday night and the Rebels will get the win.

Just so you know Boyle is now 5-9 with wins over Monticello, Somerset, Scott Co. Tenn. at McCreary Co. a win over South Floyd at Corbin and last nights win over Shelby Co. I think Aumiller had 19 and Glasscock 14 for the Rebels:thumb:

Do not know enough about South Laurel to answer that question. However Boyle is playing good basketball right. Still a lot of room for improvement. As long as we keep moving forward we should be in good shape be tourney time.:banana:

Good win for the Rebels, 35 point turn aruond

The Watts kid impressed me, but McCreary has several good players to go along with him. Should be a big factor in the 12th region.

I'm not blaming the 0-7 start on not having the football players, however the Rebels were very fresh in the 3rd quater with nine reserves instead of the 4 we had before football season was over. I think Boyle was overlooking Monticello, even though we are 0-7, after the starters sat for most of the second quarter they came out ready to play in the 3rd. Then they sat back down with over 3:00 minutes left in the game. With Coach Adams playing alot of different combanations today I think he is trying to find that "something"

We will take the win, since history or the past, does not help you in the present! Like you said a win is a win! Just glad to get the 1st one. Now go get number 2 tomorrow.

Boyle gets 1st win, after a slow start the Rebels were able to put away Monticello. The Rebels were down 9-10 after the 1st, then took a 23-20 lead by the half. Rebels outscored the Trojans 18-9 in the 3rd with a lead of 41-29, before the final frame. Coach Adams played 15 players in this game, 13 in the 1st half, as 12 players scored for Boyle Co.:thumb: The Rebels were lead by Jones with 9 points, Glasscock had 8, Aumiller and Macshara had 7,Tritapoe and Carmen had 6, Givahn-4, Perry, Mason, Crutchfield, and Goldsmith had 2, and Southerland had 1. Good win for the Rebels, Good Luck against Somerset.

Out played Henderson for most of the game. There are 7 "football" players on the basketball team 3 started today and at the 7:34 mark in the 1st quarter, there were 4 "football" players in the game. So, the "football" players do play a big role on the basketball team. In 06-07 season we started 4-9 and were regional runner-up. Don't jump ship yet, everybody stay on board. By the way football season ended 15 days ago at Bell Co. They are all basketball players now. Come down to McCreary tomorow and support the BASKETBALL team.

We got in a big hole early with Hendersons press, made a nice come back and grabbed the lead with 30 seconds to go, let it slip away. Worst officiated game I have seen this year. Both ways. BC 10-15-15-14=54 HC 18-14-13-10=55
