Has nothing to do with scoring. One of the best passers in the state. If one player was gettting "triple teamed" he would have 20 assists. Played for the State AAU champs this past weekend. You'll get a dose of him next year as he takes a bigger role.

And if you're talking about the semifinals, you're WAAAYYYY off base. EC did not "triple team" him; they didn't even double him. He plays off the ball so much, coming off a ton of screens, that it's virtually impossible to double him. If you did, Whelan would carve you up. Try again.

How would it be a conflict of interest? Teaching and coaching are 2 different contracts. He can do whatever he wants after school is out.

If Ashland is relying on 6th and 7th graders to resurrect their program, I hope patience is the word of the day there. You can't realistically expect 6th-7th grade kids to produce at the varsity level until they are at least sophomores, more likely juniors.
