  1. The kid has not transferred as of yet so how is the news going to break? Do you know that he is?

I dont think I could blame the kid if he did, if the kid wants to play football you need players that are around you to want the same. Holmes seems to fall apart every year so how is that doing him any good.[/quote

So, to heck with the rules! Well, if he truly wanted to be around players who want to play football, then he might think about HHS, BW, NCC, etc. I think there are players there that want to play football.

  2. Thanks VOR. Some of these HC posters think the BW season was a failure. I guess when we have the standards we have at BW, one could say that. Especially coming from those who finally made a state semi-final and went on to win the state! We'll see if they can continue their success next year or in years to come. I know if we were in a 4 class system, they wouldn't have made it out!

  3. You can continue to skin it however you like but bottom line, HC hasn't ever beaten BW in football. I still ask how can you make up the 43 points your team lost by? And by the way, never said the players nominate or vote for themselves. My comment if you read it thoroughly states that whoever voted on this list got it wrong! Especially concerning Jackson. Enough said. Merry Christmas and continue to try and figure out a way to beat BW!

  4. Lampone from HC. Or anyone else that made it as a LBer. Jackson is that good. If he'd be two inches taller, he'd already be committed to any D1 school he wanted to go to. And here's the thing...I'm not even a Mayfield fan. Check my posts or ask TP or snot. I just get upset when kids get the shaft. I guess when one of my own make it, which we had a few, I'll take that with a grain of salt as well since the list is not a bit accurate.

  5. Heck, Jonathan Jackson was 1A player of the year. Seems like a joke to me. I know these are all good players on the list but Jackson is a great player.

This is one time I would absolutely, unequivocally agree with you snot. We played against some who made the list at LBer, (ie Lampone) and he and all others were no where close to JJ's ability. It's an absolute sham and shame.

  6. I do not know why coach Huff would not use one of the best pitchers (if not the best) in the region. I know Teegarden is a everyday player at short or second and a very good one at that, but I believe he should pitch. Boone should have a very strong pitching staff this year as long as everyone is healthy. I look for Teegarden to pitch, WHY NOT!

Probably because he's not going to pitch in college so why take the chance and hurt his arm.
