  1. At least be fair. NewCath has had a program for 60 years. Holy Cross has had a program for 14 years. Know the numbers before you "quote" the numbers.

He seems to know the numbers. 22 Regional Finals out of 60 years is a little over 33% of the time they make it to Regional finals. HC on the other hand has made it 1 out of 14 which is about 7% of the time. So what does he need to know before he "quote" s the numbers?

I see a 0-4 record against NCC when it counts. I know they've beaten NCC once, but will they ever beat them in the playoffs? Heck they couldn't beat NCC or BW when they were in 1A, even when they were bussing kids in from Avondale.

  2. Oh, you mean the 3-8 Dixie and the 2-8 McNicholas for NCC? C'mon, man! No need to be baited into a "signature win" debate. HC is having a "signature season". All 3 losses are to teams that are in regional finals (including NCC). They have taken care of business against all other opponents in an impressive manner, especially all others in the district not named NCC. The stat that NCC needs to be concerned about is 154-0, which is the total score of HC's last 3 games since the first NCC game! So is HC doing anything different on both sides of the ball? Are they playing angry? Are they listening to their coaches more? Are the coaches adding new wrinkles? NCC has a fine team and should be favored Friday night...no question there. Many have said that NCC is the best at making second half adjustments. The Breds may have to prove that again in order to come with a win and move forward. I would like to see Holy Cross shock the 2A world and get a shot at a ring themselves.

You played the Sisters of the Blind! Come on man!

  3. [This is in reference to SNOTS post]

Your schedule is no where close to BW's. Don't even start. Graves (4-7) and Greenwood (5-5) are terrible. SK and Dixie would beat them both. Evansville Harrison, IN is terrible with only 2 wins. Milan was a scrimmage and doesn't count last I checked. PT lost their QB in 2nd quarter. Heck you've beat PT last 8 years so they don't seem to be that great. Put the ball gag back in SNot!

  4. If this is what Zeke wanted, then I wish him nothing but the best. However, I would hate to think that he made the decision to leave due to all of the scrutiny he has received over the past few years. I just think it's to bad that an 18 year old high school kid cannot do what other HS seniors do like hang out, play basketball, attend prom, walk with his class at graduation, etc..............good luck to you young man, I wish you nothing but the best going forward.

Think he attended prom but happened to be drunk and was suspended. Don't feel sorry for him not being able to do some of these things. He's made his own bed... and now wants to run from it. I do hope he realizes things won't be covered up and excuses made for all bad behavior down at Auburn as a student/athlete. Best of luck.

  5. Even though the outcome of this game seems inevitable. I am going to keep my fingers crossed for the extremely small percentage of chance that Ludlow pulls out this one out. I know, that this is very unlikely. But as a Bellevue fan, I am hoping Ludlow wins and the regional final game is Bellevue v. Ludlow.

I have heard Bellevue wants another shot at BW. Heard they didn't play their best but if they do in the rematch, BW will be staying home on Thanksgiving.

  6. Owens did well. He was in on several tackles. He also had a few solo. He wasn't the only freshman though. Harrison CB, S had good plays over taller receivers. He had an interception in the end zone over a 6'3 receiver. Johnson also a freshman, DT had four or five tackles and a QB sack. Considered that dixie only looses maybe a dozen starters, they should be growing in strength.

Aren't they always growing in strength?
