No worries boys I will make a promise to you all and that is that this is my last post ever on anything Bw.
good bye!
My prayers have been answered! Good riddance and by the way are you stealing the ball gag from Snot?
-
TOG is correct. Dixie was supposed to be one of the best teams up here but obviously imploded.
-
At least be fair. NewCath has had a program for 60 years. Holy Cross has had a program for 14 years. Know the numbers before you "quote" the numbers.
He seems to know the numbers. 22 Regional Finals out of 60 years is a little over 33% of the time they make it to Regional finals. HC on the other hand has made it 1 out of 14 which is about 7% of the time. So what does he need to know before he "quote" s the numbers?
I see a 0-4 record against NCC when it counts. I know they've beaten NCC once, but will they ever beat them in the playoffs? Heck they couldn't beat NCC or BW when they were in 1A, even when they were bussing kids in from Avondale.
-
Oh, you mean the 3-8 Dixie and the 2-8 McNicholas for NCC? C'mon, man! No need to be baited into a "signature win" debate. HC is having a "signature season". All 3 losses are to teams that are in regional finals (including NCC). They have taken care of business against all other opponents in an impressive manner, especially all others in the district not named NCC. The stat that NCC needs to be concerned about is 154-0, which is the total score of HC's last 3 games since the first NCC game! So is HC doing anything different on both sides of the ball? Are they playing angry? Are they listening to their coaches more? Are the coaches adding new wrinkles? NCC has a fine team and should be favored Friday night...no question there. Many have said that NCC is the best at making second half adjustments. The Breds may have to prove that again in order to come with a win and move forward. I would like to see Holy Cross shock the 2A world and get a shot at a ring themselves.
You played the Sisters of the Blind! Come on man!
-
Holy Cross is legit, the Breds had better play 4 quarters of NewCath football. Last year after the loss to BW the Breds rolled through the playoffs all the way to the title. Looks like the same is happening again this season.
Who have they beaten to be considered legit? NCC by a bunch.

Want to make the long drive snot so I can personally stick the ball gag back in!
-
most of that footage looks to be from last season
-
Off topic but I see a lot of bengals helmets for avatars. Are they doing better now and people are jumping on the bandwagon or what?
-
Totally agree. My wife cannot understand why I am in the door by 9 PM lately on Friday nights. Hmmmm.....maybe it's not the Beechwood early blowouts I should be concerned about.
Funny!

[This is in reference to SNOTS post]
Your schedule is no where close to BW's. Don't even start. Graves (4-7) and Greenwood (5-5) are terrible. SK and Dixie would beat them both. Evansville Harrison, IN is terrible with only 2 wins. Milan was a scrimmage and doesn't count last I checked. PT lost their QB in 2nd quarter. Heck you've beat PT last 8 years so they don't seem to be that great. Put the ball gag back in SNot!
-
BW was within 10 but it was only for 1 play of the game. I love winning but I sure hope things can be competitive. Clubing baby seals the last couple of years, as Snake likes to say, gets old
If your tired of clubbing baby seals, toughen your schedule.

Purpose of your post?
-
Don't have it in for him. Wasn't there as well but have heard from several who were. Would be rooting for him if he was the upstanding citizen he portrays himself to be. Tired of the typical 'bashing an 18 year old kid thing'. Call it how i see it...period.
-
Great story and best of luck the rest of the year.
-
Were any of the accusations ever proven? Zeke flatly denies the accusations.
He wasn't alone when he was smoking before the game. Those involved took the blame except him. I guess he wasn't drunk at the prom either!
-
Whose the Favorite?
I'd say Frankfort is the favorite. Remember Frankfort beat Newport 14-8 and the next week Newport beat Bellevue 35-14. I still am pulling for Bellevue however.
-
Mark Pike is not baggage.
He is when he continues to make excuses for Zeke and not let him reap what he sows. I wish the best to Zeke down at AU.
-
If this is what Zeke wanted, then I wish him nothing but the best. However, I would hate to think that he made the decision to leave due to all of the scrutiny he has received over the past few years. I just think it's to bad that an 18 year old high school kid cannot do what other HS seniors do like hang out, play basketball, attend prom, walk with his class at graduation, etc..............good luck to you young man, I wish you nothing but the best going forward.
Think he attended prom but happened to be drunk and was suspended. Don't feel sorry for him not being able to do some of these things. He's made his own bed... and now wants to run from it. I do hope he realizes things won't be covered up and excuses made for all bad behavior down at Auburn as a student/athlete. Best of luck.
-
How's he belittling kids? Come on, he's calling it as he sees it. Enough of all the politically correct crap.
-
This is too cool that 3 of the top ten are from KY! I would think that Manual would have to be close to cracking the top ten.
It's probably because there isn't the number of talented teams like in some other states. You have your top programs in KY then it falls off dramatically.
-
Even though the outcome of this game seems inevitable. I am going to keep my fingers crossed for the extremely small percentage of chance that Ludlow pulls out this one out. I know, that this is very unlikely. But as a Bellevue fan, I am hoping Ludlow wins and the regional final game is Bellevue v. Ludlow.
I have heard Bellevue wants another shot at BW. Heard they didn't play their best but if they do in the rematch, BW will be staying home on Thanksgiving.
-
VOR, remember Eminence didn't have their QB and MLB. Not saying Ludlow wouldn't have still won but it would've been tougher.
-
Does he start?
-
Owens did well. He was in on several tackles. He also had a few solo. He wasn't the only freshman though. Harrison CB, S had good plays over taller receivers. He had an interception in the end zone over a 6'3 receiver. Johnson also a freshman, DT had four or five tackles and a QB sack. Considered that dixie only looses maybe a dozen starters, they should be growing in strength.
Aren't they always growing in strength?
