Love it as well! Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't our Constitution say we have Freedom OF Religion not Freedom FROM Religion? We need to see more of this IMO.

I agree. Had Pike been in the Highlands system for 4yrs, I'd like to think he'd be a different person and yes probably would have put up some great numbers.
You mean 5 right? JK
-
You'd have to put HC below Hazard and Mayfield since they lost to BW by 43 and Mayfield beat BW. Think 3 teams in 1A would have won 2A if they were in it.
-
I'm referring to the playoff run, but if they were to play Beechwood now, the game wouldn't be anything like the last time.
They would make up 43 points how?
-
Look test is overrated at times; HC dominated the second half; same thing they have done throughout the playoffs. Congratulations to the Indians on a very impressive season. Other than New Cath, Glasgow was their toughest challenge.
Are you refering to their playoff run or season?
-
Does that mean that Hazard didn't win this on their own, that if it wasn't for Beechwood softening them up Mayfield would have won? Do they have to send rings to BW as well?
I guess you are only able to read one sentence at a time. Go ahead, take a deep breath and read sentence two!

I think BW did Hazard a favor by wearing down Mayfield because that was not the same Mayfield team from a week ago. Congrats Hazard on a nice win!

By the looks of these lists football started in NKY in about 1990.
That's due to the fact that most have gone to airing it out nowadays.

Here is my top 10:
1. Lorenzen (Highlands)
2. Towles (Highlands)
3. Guidugli (Highlands)
4. McCormick (Cov Cath)
5. O'Toole (Dixie)
6. Hergott (Beechwood)
7. Wilmhoff (Beechwood)
8. Lawrence (Simon Kenton)
9. Lee (Lloyd)
10. Berkley (Bellevue)
Are we going by high school accomplishments or where and how they did in college?

QS is not even on this site anymore. Why are you so enamored with him?

I thought Raush had a good game plan for the Cardinals, but Volkee just couldn't get much on the outside, but, Neessbom sure ran it well all night. He's a tough kid. Hopefully there QB, David, will be okay..
Well, I hope Sith gets better and Lamont is good to go for state game and Jimathon keeps running the ball and Coach Murris is rewarded with another ring! Come on! Is that the best a Mayfield education can do for you?
-
I think duke42 is a Beechwood fan so he may be showing his disappointment that Beechwood didn't get it done, but I agree that isn't the way to do it. I am having a hard time remembering a more disappointing loss.
No, Duke42 is a disgruntled BW fan. Trust me.

Much Heralded Bwood Seniors... No Ring, Get In the back of the bus.
Well at least they are able to get on a bus! Not sure you could say the same! Get a life.
-
Hey Q, would you say BW owns NCC? Well that's a fact that's undisputed.
-
Got to question why Western Ky officials were officiating this game. No question Vocke gets hit from behind when ball is about 5 yards from him. Many questionable calls and no calls all night. It's extremely disappointing when a zebra takes a game away from the kids. Extremely hard fought game all night.

No, what is funny is you blindly jump in on a lot of comments from Mayfield fans, cause you are such a hater, and some of the time, we are in jest, baiting YOU!
Not a hater, just tired of all the hilljacks jacking BW threads thru the year!

This years defense is better
like nothingthey have ever experienced before so they will have some hidden doubt in the back of their minds. A few may even be worried "LaBront Scott leaving a knott on their forehead":ohbrother: From the song couldn't help myself on that one:laugh: Had Bw developed a better pass attack to go with their great run game I would be more concerned. Now all that said, turnovers and mistakes change games and gameplans and both teams are great so we will se if it is the young upstart Cards with the linemen that Bw is planning to try and exploit or the vetern Tigers and their experienced line and backs.
You just better hope your boy Lamont doesn't have a knot on his forehead!

There was a notable Beechwood supporter last year (I would mention him by name but he'll probably send me another nasty PM) that was calling Mayfield "the greatest Class A team ever" long before the Cardinals won the state championship. I'll stand by my comment.
By the way, anybody that believes that last year's team was the best ever at Mayfield probably hasn't been around since the 1970s.
He said it in jest and you blindly took it seriously! Very funny!

I guess that is where I differ with you and perhaps others. My question to you is what do you have to do to "earn" it? I think the kid who works his tail off every day on the scout team, does every workout with the team just like the starters and participates in all the off season programs does deserve a letter. I see the letter as recognition of effort and being a key part of a team more than some status symbol limited to the starting players only.
Agreed!

No it was a post last year Snake found but was not sure how to bring it forward so he ask me to help him out so I copy and pasted it. He was comparing Quick to Nomsterdomis. I posted it then we noticed that Quick was taking some time off so not sure we will get to hear from him as Snake had hoped
If you can take the time to pull up posts from bygone years, please use spell check or google for correct spelling. It just screams IGN.....

It's not haters. It's people that feel there are consequences for one's actions. You must be one who thinks everyone should get a trophy just for showing up.
-
Heard a few starters for Mayfield are out? Could make a difference in the game.
-
Sorry VOR, they were intended for that exact reason. Actually get tired of posting it; however, more tired of listening to their drivel.

Well, If Jaksen's (sp?) gets a knee sprain before the game, then we might have a shot. Was Hazard's shot.
