Well, Corbin could not go and shoot free throw shoots because South Laurel did not put them in the bonus. I mean, SL had plenty of fouls to give up in the fourth. I agree with Corbin being out of gas at the end of the fourth. When South made a few threes and came back, it seemed to break Corbin. It was like a snowball rolling down a mountain, becoming larger and larger. I left before overtime because I knew South had gained the momentum and Corbin just ran out of gas. Corbin had a great season and there is no shame in being the 2nd best team in the region. I know the players are hurting right now and thinking of all the what ifs. There are many lessons to learn from a loss like this -- many have nothing to do with basketball.

Hats off to South Laurel. SLHS just has an amazing coaching staff. By far, the best in the region. That's why the Cardinals win again, again, and again. Players will come and go; however, the coaches are going to be there year in and year out. These coaches know how to utilize the talent they have -- that 2-3 defense is unbelievable. Corbin scores 65, 35, 50, and 49 against it. Congratulations, South Laurel, you had the heart of a champion tonight. On a side note, when Corbin was up double digits in the fourth, the fans started chanting "Rupp Arena." Immediately, I was like, "This one is FAR from over." I think everyone started counting chickens too early--fans and players.

LOVETHOSEHOUNDS, I wish I had your optimism. I hope you're prediction is right ... I would love to see Corbin just have the game of their life tomorrow night. Two amazing nights, a third one would be great. It would be great to see South dethroned.

Geez ... here we go again! Second year in a row these two teams have played one another four times. Corbin is going into this game 1-6 against South. Since, 1998, I believe Corbin is 6-11 against the Cards. Since, 2005, Corbin has only beat 'em once. South has had some great times during this stretch. Tomorrow should be another good one.

Wow ... you can't say enough about Wilson tonight -- he truly deserved the player of the game award, which he received. Elam got on his team for letting him drive in so many times. Smallest kid on the court tonight with the biggest heart and effort. Congratulations, Corbin. I hope they'll have something left for the Cardinals tomorrow.

Good things will definitely happen if Crawford makes a presence in the paint tomorrow night. For one, it will force Knox Central to double or triple team him, which will free up other shooters like Madison, Wilson, Smith, etc. Knox Central is an offensively explosive team -- the Hounds kept them at a season low of 47 points (St. Xavier, OH also held KC to 47 points earlier in the season). They'll need another strong defensive effort.

Monday night is getting closer and closer. I am obsessed with March Madness right now. I have been watching state regionals on Wazoo, college basketball on ESPN and CBS, and just finished watching the Lady Vols beat LSU. I definitely have basketball fever. I cannot wait until tomorrow night! I bet there will be standing room only. So, my advice to the Redhound fans is to get there EARLY!

As I have said before, I do not see a double digit win by either team.

This is a rivalry despite the fact these two schools are not in the same county. Both teams were in the same district for years.

I am in agreement with those picking Clay County. I watched the game between these two earlier in the season at South Laure on Wazoo. The Lady Tigers have been in this situation before--I think the experience factor works in their favor.

Well, I believed that the Lady Tigers would three-peat ... they have a good chance now. These girls know how to win basketball games.

I noticed some have Corbin winning by double digits. Not going to happen. When Corbin and Knox Central faced off in the 50th district, the games were usually close and came down to the wire. I do not see this game being much different. When these two teams played last month at Corbin, it was a low scoring affair and Corbin escaped by three (50-47). I think it will come down to who wants this game the most and individual players will have to set up. I would love to see a South Laurel/Corbin rematch in the finals. So, I can't wait until Monday!

13th Region is a great tournament -- its living up to expectations. The games tonight seem a lot more exciting ... I should have made the trip.

At one point, I thought Lynn Camp had run out of steam and Bell County was going to come back and take it. No one really gave Lynn Camp a chance to advance--I'm happy for those kids.

Wow ... kid hit a half-court shot to give Jackson Co a one point lead after the 1st quarter. I love Wazoo!

WazooSports is good but I did not catch the final score -- I am sure they announced, though I was waiting and didn't catch it. It was a two point game I believe.
