  1. Spoke with someone close to the situation. They said that a huge selling point was how up-front Navy was about how difficult the path would be there. Drew will be spending a year at the Naval Academy Prep School where he'll probably get a long look at the 3 slot, and possibly play some of the 4 as well. In general, it seemed that Navy viewed Drew as a face-up 4 or wing 3 primarily but loved the versatility he had in that he could slide to the 2 or 5 if they absolutely had to due to foul trouble, but have zero interest in him being the main post player.
  2. I think early reports were that he'd listen but that he was expected to come back.
  3. Brandon Ingram has taken an official to Duke and I'd imagine that there is a fair amount of interest each way. I really like Chase Jeter and Luke Kennard.
  4. Listed below are the names and comments listed before with some of the names that others have scratched off (and Hinson moved down because of the question about him being able to teach). Just copied this and ruled out some names that were mentioned later. Any more of these that we can rule out and/or anyone with head coaching experience that you'd think would be required by the Mason County job that we should add? I don't see someone with just a year or two experience being able to get this job. Buddy Biggs - Former Ashland & Pendleton HC, former Mason Co Asst Allen Feldhaus Jr. - Madison Central, Alum Willie Feldhaus - formerly Russell Co., Alum David Henley - Eastern Head Coach - Connection to current superintendent at Mason Brad Cox - Current Mason Co assistant last 5 years Jason Hinson - Augusta (possibly no teaching degree)
  5. Congrats to Mr. Trimble. Look forward to seeing him do big things in the future! This was one of the most underrated kids in the 11th this past season and Navy is getting a great kid.
  6. ESPN Insider was where I got my info. Those were the only official visits they listed.
  7. Have a friend who watches this and recommended it to me. It's a true crime drama apparently. Anyone watch it, and if so, what do you think of it?
  8. So he could have taken just what Gillispie left and been fine? He didn't have to take on guys like Stevenson or run off Euton and his sweet skullet? The program was a mess when he took it.

  10. Understand what everyone is saying, but UK has also been there at the end each time as well. Cal came in and had to build them basically from scratch given the disaster that was Gillispie. K and Calhoun were at their programs for quite some time. Will be interesting to see if Ollie is able to keep UConn up at the clip that Calhoun had when he left.
  11. I just wish the charge/flop was fixed.
  12. Sorry, I was thinking Matt Jones. Had a brainfart and just realized that it was Tyus Jones. That one is definitely debatable.
  13. Okafor and Towns is a matter of opinion. Winslow is better than UK's #2, IMO Lyles. Allen played pretty well tonight, but I'll take Booker. I'll take Ulis over Jones all day. Probably closer than people want to believe.
  14. C'mon Bo, be better than talking about the hand and body checking. Your boy Kaminsky benefitted from it all year.
  15. I thought there were some tired legs for Wisconsin tonight. How many shots did you see missing short tonight? I thought there were many more than you'd see missing long. Playing in the West with some long travel for each step, having a tough Elite Eight opponent in Arizona, tough game with Kentucky in the Final Four, that caught up to them. Amile Jefferson's defense and Grayson Allen's offense carried Duke. Okafor made some big plays late to seal it. Congrats to @PurplePride92 and @GrizzlyAdams. Enjoy your Natty guys.
  16. If Duke wins this game, then Amile Jefferson's defense is going to be a big reason why. Dude has been all over the place on the defensive end.
  17. You wonder about Wisconsin having some tired legs. Lots of travel being in the West, tough game against Kentucky late on Saturday. How many shots have you seen come up short on there end? I'd say at least 3:1 coming up short versus being long.
  18. Exhibit A on Kaminsky being the most protected player in the nation: 10:00 mark in the second half where he mauls Okafor; next trip down, Okafor fouls him on a reach.
  19. Why does Plumleee run up and screen Allen's mismatch on Kaminsky so Wisconsin can switch and get a better matchup?
