This is off subject, but is Robinson going to play football anywhere? His numbers throughout the year were ridiculous.

I have to admit that I do not know much about Stein but when I was looking at the stats throughout the year. Lone Oak's QB threw for 67 touchdown passes in 10 regular season games. He also had 81 leading to the state game. The previous state record including the post season is 63. I have not seen either play all year, but just looking at the numbers, he has my vote.

Very nice performance by both teams. I must admit I was not expecting this game to be close. I am very impressed with LCA and how hard they played. Looking at LCA's roster I feel fairly certain we will be meeting them in the playoffs or finals again, they had several good looking underclassmen. Congrats to the Tigers on their tenth title.

3 teams from NKY will end up state champs. Beechwood New Cath and Highlands all win easy.

I thought moving to a six class system was a bad idea from the beginning. A major negative impact on this system is the competition level has decreased drastically. Instead of thrilling second round action like last years Beechwood New Cath game, we have both teams not playing each other and beating the tar out of teams and basically walking to the state finals. The same can be said for Highlands, St.X, Trinity, and most of the teams going to Louisville this week

As posted earlier, Beechwood has played down to the competition earlier in the regular season against teams not nearly as good as LCA. Throughout the year that scared me because if I felt like if we didn't play very well against a good team we would not be able to come back. BUT right now Beechwood is playing by far better than they did in the regular season by going back to the fundamentals and mistake free football. I think this game will be close... at halftime.
