Mason Co. by 35 Miller 35 points plays the 1st half only.

Scott County PG Ge-lawn Guyn had a bad first half. Remember he started at Henry Clay last year. Henry Clay had a great game out of Mose before he was hurt. And Aaron Boyd play well after Mose was hurt. Scott County has 5 good Starter and a great bench that could start on other teams in the 11th region. Plus Scott Co. has played 10 of the Top 25 in USA Today Poll.:fight:

Sophomore Class Impressive It's been quite a few years since eastern ky. has seen a sophomore class as talented as this years is . Any coach would like to have this lineup of starters and reserves to coach : Guards - Josh Whitaker - 6' 0" Hazard ; Tate Cox - 5' 11" JBS ; Wing Forward - Cody Miller - 6' 5" Knox Central ; Forward - Dakotah Euton - 6' 8" Rose Hill Academy ; Center Forward - Ashley Hatfield - 6' 6" Shelby Valley and if any of those get in foul trouble come of the bench with guards Aaron Watts - McCreary Central , Stuart Stamper - Knott Central & Madison Johnson - Corbin or wing forward Chad Jackson - Rose Hill Academy and for a solid sub inside Matt St. John - South Laurel . I sure would like to take this group on a summer tour and put them up against the so called quick / athletic type player we see so often in todays inner city and metropolitan areas .This is a Quote! Scott County turn the ball over a lot in this game. Missed alot of EZ shots. The D was just Great last night, and Scott County was alot bigger than Mason County. I Love the play of Scott County bench. In a rematch they win again. Mason County have to find way to feed Miller the ball inside to be the best team in the State. But for now Scott County is the best team in the State. They have a chance to prove it the floor. Next up Bryan Station on friday at Scott County. Bring on the next test Bryan Station's (Mack)!

After Mason County game, next up Bryan Station they press the whole game! That game is one that Scott County does not match up with in anyway shape or form. Bryan Station Starts 4 point guard and a Center.

First Scott County team must play like a team. Each player has to know there role and what they can do on the court. The point guard has to run the team and be the QB out on the floor. Ge'lawn must get better in order to make that run at the State Tournament. But I think Scott County will win by 8. Two Mason County starter are sick with the flu and has missed 3 day of school. :creepy:

Scott County was thinking Mason County game Friday! They did not play well and won the game anyway. Plus Ge'lawn Guyn was playing his old team, So the pressure was all over his face the first half. Made up for it in the 2th half with 14 points and finish with 16 and 3 steals 2 blocks 2 turnover and 4 fouls. Remember he started power forward for Henry Clay last year. this is his first year at point guard, Ge'lawn is still learning. Lucky he has two more years left at Scott County.:dancingpa

Scott County has a better starting 5 plus a better bench. Do not let the 8-7 record fool you. All 5 are good at playing in the big game. Miller get 25 point in a 12 point lost.
