Hi folks. First post :dancingpa so I got that out of the way. I've tried to be responsible and read AMAP before posting.
This point made about size is of interest since my daughter started HS this year, and she travels playing field hockey. One thing I noticed is other states have VERY large, and VERY nice public schools. I went to Dayton with her, and both schools were incredible. One straight out of Beverly Hills (Oakwood) and the other, (Fairmont Kettering), had a stadium that makes X's new stadium look pop warner. I quit bragging about X's stadium after that trip. Seats 10,500, that's 1/4 the size of Papa Johns?!? They have enrollment around 3K. She also traveled with her club team to Florida and it's the same story there according to parents who went.
So what gives. Why is this happening in other states and not here?
